Started BRF jars in an incubator...

Hey guys, I knocked up 16 brf (tall 1/2 pint, yes I know lol) about 19 days ago. I put them in an incubation chamber with a blanket around it (no other heating source). Temp stays around 75f. I have kept them in there the whole time. I fan once or twice a day (although I know gas exchange is really all that's needed, I guess just piece of mind). I know RR says to never use an incubator, should I take my jars out now if all of them are looking great 95-99%. Perfect rhizomorphic growth. Starting to see what looks like thick rhizomes colonizing together in concentration around the inoc points. Small "nodes"....although not pins. I will post some pics as soon as I get home. Thanks guys!

What you have is not an incubator, you just tucked in your jars with a blanket the same way you tuck in a child for bed Difference being that a child produces enough heat for the blanket to have some insulating effects and prevent heat loss whereas myc just don't (at least not nearly as much). Anyway, incubators are unnecessary and what to say about blankets...

Mycelium only needs to exchange gases during colonization (not fresh air at all) and if you followed the PF tek to the T they should have enough gas exchange. So keep that piece of mind for other things, just don't fan the freaking jars

Awesome lol, thanks for the reply I won't worry about anything now since everything is colonizing nicely! I'll keep the thread updated with pics

Omg how do I add a picture from my phone. I have tried a few different file types and the site says it's unsupported?
