never hit acid done shrooms 6-7 times  . for my first time hitting acid should I take 1 or 2 hits  ? how intense is 1 or 2 hits of acid compared to an eighth of shrooms?

ask the person you got it from. First time i took acid, all i could get was half of a hit, but it was supposed to be really good. turns out that i tripped for 20 hours really hard. so. dont'just automatically take 2.

I say take 2. It shouldn't overwhelm you even if it is great as long as you can handle 1/8 mushrooms.

If you feel good about life, and can handle an eighth of shrooms, you should be able to handle 2, even if they are really good. I often take 5-10 even if they're very good, and have never had a bad trip off LSD(I wouldn't recommend this for your first time though). If you feel doubtful though, then I would take one, if any.

i took two hits of acid on a camping trip awhile ago and i literally saw Jupiter in the sky, you know in those sci fi movies where the planet in the sky is so huge and setting into the horizon. anyways after that the stars in the sky weere dancing and moving like fire flys and i remember when i tried to go to sleep in my tent i looked up and the moon was shining through the trees onto the top of my tent and the shadows on my tent had 3 dimensional faces. everytime the shadows moved it looked like the faces were also moving. ultimate trip experience i will never forget.

The only bad effect I got from any Hallucinogen was a sore face the next day. From laughing for hours. Just remember, acid lasts alot longer than shrooms.

awesome.. you saw jupiter in the sky?
i did 2 hits and saw the sky of jupiter as the sky. ya know, the swirling dark clouds with a big red tornado like spot. though there were far more than one spot, then they all turned into galaxies, and then a tin foil like effect i've heard described here.
after that i noticed what i could barely recognize as a jet of some sort. rather than seeing the plane, it just looked like a red dot of some sort.
the trail behind it was black rather than white. it then changed into some weird paper towel (quilts) type pattern.
they were relatively weak hits i've heard, so 2 was probably more like 1.5.. but it sure was amazing.

Oh man. This happens to me too! I love it, the moon has a sort of strobe light effect. I could sit in my room for hours in total darkness with my cell phone lighting up

first time i tripped was at the dead show in atlanta and i saw a huge rainbow in the sky...the middle of it was directly above me....i didnt think that was possible but someone told me i would see something in the sky that would be the most beutiful thing i would ever see...hours before i saw it...and everyone there seemed to see the exact same thing.
I still dont know if that dmaned thing was real or not LOL

Yeah, Dead shows have a reputation for having rainbows and/or extremely beutiful cloud formations near or over them. I had never really heard of this until a couple months ago. I have only been to one dead show, and I can vouch for the sweet cloud formations that were present. The sky was simply amazing. This was at Bonnaroo by the way. Anyways, I know it wasn't just the drugs, others who were sober commented on it too...there's something magical going on at those shows!

You people should try even the regular acid from here (portugal). Two hits would probably take you on a very intense and unnexpected journey.
I would never advise anyone to take a whole hit their first time, even if that person can handle 1/8 of mushrooms.
I certainly can handle 1/8, and very rarely i eat a whole hit at once. I usually take half a hit, and then if necessary have more but only after the first half has kicked in.
People here take acid by the half hits, and i myself have been VERY overwhelmed by certain half hits.
So please, play safe and never advise people to do something you don't know the consequences of.
I know acid in the US is much weaker, but i don't see what's the harm in taking half or 1 today to figure out potency. If it's weak, wait till next weekend and dose 2 or 3 or whatever amount you deem necessary.
Just imagine some european folk who have just bought some LSD and comes to the shroomery to see how many he should take. He finds this thread and decides to eat 3. OMG  ! If he has good acid, he would probably not be the same again, and didn't have a chance to choose if he wanted that or not.
So please, before you say eat 3 or 6, think and please say 'if you're in the States eat 3 or 6'.
This is not a flame, just a reminder  . The shroomery has many people from other places where acid may be MUCH stronger than your acid.
Take care people! 
(and don't play around with LSD, it is very serious stuff IMHO)

I agree with you on that. Psychedelics are life changers in nature.
However he has all the time in the world to eat lots of acids and change his life, why risk it his first time?
Acid is known for putting some unprepared users in the mental ward.
I have a good friend who's going through rough times partly because of acid and mushrooms. His trips opened his eyes for something i will not be telling here (maybe some other time in an appropriate thread).
And now he's having lots of troubles integrating that 'info' and finding some mental stability in his life.
I guess some of you never had a full blown psychedelic experience on acid to talk about it like they are E pills. Because where i live some people actually lose it because they dose too high on it.
On my first acid trip i had half a hit, and i actually feared for my mental sanity 8 hours later because i couldn't imagine myself coming down from that weird twisted state i was in, where sometimes time would just stop and i could read other people's minds and vice versa. I dunno what would have happened to me if i had decided to eat 2.
And i was not inexperienced on psychedelics, i had eaten many 1/8s of mushrooms and smoked salvia a couple times before that.
I know your acids are weaker, and i can understand you probably need multiple hits to get to a satisfying trip, but please don't say "it's just acid he'll be fine" because the acid going around here is just not like that.
Just my two cents.
For the guy who started this thread: Enjoy your LSD , eat a lot of it  , but please be careful with what you have in your hands.

what kind of blotter are they. probably dragons... only one family is putting shit out during this winter, so they're probably dragons, unless you're on the west coast then i don't know. take 2, or take one to start, then pop another 2 hours later. have fun man,

I haven't yet met the LSD that I couldn't handle a ten stip of. I'm not saying that that's a good idea for someone inexperienced, but it wont hurt you if your mind is in the right place. If your mind is in the wrong place, a half hit can drive you insane.
Just to illustrate my point, I have a little story. My friends and I were tripping on like 10 hits each one night. Later that evening, my brother got off work and brought our friends from work over. This one kid named Nate was pretty drunk. Someone got the idea that it would be fun to tell Nate that we had slipped him some doses, even though nobody had.(mind you, Nate had never tried it and didn't want to. He didn't even smoke pot). Nate proceeded to have the worst bad trip that I have ever seen anyone have in my life-without having taken any LSD. He ended up locking himself in my bathroom and wouldn't come out. it took us like 2 hours to convince him that nobody had dosed him, and that they were just joking. I felt bad about the situation, and I don't condone this kind of thing, but I think this illustrates my point. Sorry it's so long...

Almost all the acid i have come across lately has been ridiculously weak. But a couple years ago there was acid around and 1 dose would be equal to or STRONGER than a 10strip of acid today. I swear. It was kind of hard to find even when acid was plentiful but those doses were fuckin crazy. Thats what all acid should be...thats what the LSD experience is supposed to be. Most of the times it was sugarcubes and not blotters. Taking 10 of them would be out of the question for most acidheads. But it seems like all the acid that i have run into lately have been like 100 mic party hits or something, so i think its reasonably safe to assume taking 2 hits wouldnt be very bad. Anyways i dont remember where i was goign with this post so i'll just end now.

I think portugal should start cutting their 'hits' down to a 1/8 of an inch or something...
I think they're is no such thing as a 'bad' trip. If you arent mentally stable enough to not freak, and ride it out, you shouldnt be taking acid in the first place.
I have a friend who has trouble integrating his trips into learning experiences too. Like you, I dont want to get into it, because it involves some personal things in his life, but he stopped a few months ago... I dont know if it was the acid or what but I think something was triggered.. He should of stopped a year and a half ago when he had his first 'bad' trip..
I took 3 hits my first time, not knowing what I was getting myself into. It ended up being really strong, and I was pretty much peaking visually for 10 hours, stayed up till the next night, all wacked out. I learned a lot about handling myself in front of people that night, and it was the best thing I ever did. I came back different, in a good way. I've never doubted my mental stability my whole life, and dont put myself in stupid situations I dont want to give the wrong impression about my friend being changed in a bad way though.. He didnt take a 'half a hit' or whatever one day and freak out.  We've tripped off of 'squirts', for 3 days straight out of some amber vile,we were both gone, and had great times. It wasnt the tripping itself, it was the things he realised about himself while tripping that are lingering on him.. Anyways, I've never cut a hit in half in my life, thats why its a 'hit'.

some people just like to trip...some people just like to go insane. Id be the insane type...i love dying and coming back. Acid is alwyas good for me...10 grams of shrooms was way wprse than any amount of acid ive done. It didnt make me trip harder...but it did make me non-accepting of what what going on. On acid i always just accept it as it comes..weather i think im dying or i think im jesus.

I dunno slipknot. Flies and eyes seamed much more potent dose for dose then almost all the paper stuff i was getting in 2000-2001ish.

I only took one, but i think that the acid was really strong, becuase at the time i couldn't even imagine trying
more then 1 hit. I would only take one if i where you, its worth it.
