what to do with aborted pins?

Right so I have some good cakes growing lots of pins but they're all aborting after a day or so and its cuz the temperature is way too low in my house and the temperature fluctuates quite a lot cuz heating is being turned on and off a couple of times a day. I've fixed the problem by making a make-shift heating mat which heats up to 20 degrees Celcius and cuz my heating on heats at 20C the temperature should stay constant almost all the time.
What I wanna know is what I should do with all these aborted pins, will they grow and unabort as a result of the better conditions or should I just chop all of them down and bin???
Thx in advance.

your pins are not aborting because of the temp. making a heat mat will solve no problems for the mushrooms. might solve a temp problem you are perceiving. unless your house swings in temp by 10+ degrees every few hours...
what type of FC do you have? i bet your issue lies in the setup.
ps. pick aborts and each them. yumyum.

Its a pretty sloppy SGFC, got a few holes in each side of the tupperware box, got like 2 inches of perlite and I mist and fan 2-3 times a day and mist before fanning. I keep it in light for as long as I can which is about 10 hours of gloomy english light.

bingo.
can you post a pic? sloppy sgfc=sloopy mushrooms.
sgfc needs the 2x2 grid on ALL sides for it too work. otherwise its a mono tub with random holes. perlite needs to be double if you can.
the sgfc, as simple as it is, works from its basic principles. if you change anything in the slightest it will simply stop working.

I used the exact same set up for my last grow and that went perfectly as a first grow, ended up with 200gs of healthy fresh fruits and I didn't even use perlite that time. Thats why I assumed it was the temperature. I'll add more perlite and see if that makes a difference.

Also can I reuse perlite?? If I decide to restart the grow could I just keep the perlite in my fc for ever??

perlite last forever. when i used it id replace it every few grows just because i felt like it.
i looked at your other post and yah... you got results but you can get much better!! youve proven you can do it yourself. thats awesome. now lets refine that chamber and get you some impressive cakes.. then you get hooked and its on to bulk/agar.
however you had some deleted pics in the most recent thread but the first response was
" "
dont think thats good

Yh I deleted the pics cuz they were just a disgrace. I think my cakes had a bacterial infection and not enough Fae but these problems have been solved luckily.

"10 hours of gloomy english light"
Get a CFL bulb at least 5000 kelvins, preferably 6500k. Use it on a 12/12 cycle.
Aborted pins could be caused by many other things, but giving proper lighting would be an improvement (even if only slight).
