Can't put my finger on them, active?
    #23894861 - 12/04/16 06:55 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

Found in mulch/soil about 300 yards from the ocean
growing woodlover fashion
I will take more habitat photos if I can, and there will be spore prints coming soon

some fanciful guesses : Pholiotina smithii, Baeos, cyanofilbrosa, cyanopus

More probable guesses: inactive pans, some other worthless lbm

Let me know if I should post more pics

A few more shots, I should note that the stalks are meaty like you would see in psilocybes.

Definitely psilocybe (not pholiotina or pans). Not sure which as no psilocybes regularly occur in my area, however baeocystis is not a bad guess.

EDIT: sorry I originally left out the word "not," so it read "baeocystis is a bad guess"

Do they bruise? What color is the spore print. Which region? Pnw? My guess is p. cyanofibrillosa.

They don't show much obvious bruising, I am working on a print now.

interesting....

The top look almost psilocybe but the bruizing at the base looks black.

And the second post u made looks of a different species. The gills look psilocybe but the cap color seems off.

Curious to see what these are

Most likely Panaeolus foenesecii.  Those are not active mushrooms.

I just looked again and I'm pretty sure they aren't psilocybe or any other active species.
