LI injected into 4 quart rye bag... advice.

I am looking to improve the colonization time of my bags. Its at about 2.5 weeks right now.
4 quarts of rye in pre-sealed myco bag. Half of a vigorous, fully grown petri dish in 25cc of water. Blended as little as possible. Sucked up, Injected, then I wait 24 hours and then shake thoroughly.
I am getting clean colonization, but it seems slow.
What direction can I go to improve?
Thoughts I have: 1) Might be blending to much. 2) Might have too little agar in dish (I found it blends easier with a very shallow layer) 3) Maybe I don't have enough air in the bag. (looks like about 1.5 quarts) 4) Maybe I can wait longer to shake (The bags I shake immediately are 4 days behind)
Thanks!!! T

You can tr to find a faster culture but 2.5 weeks is pretty standard for large bags. For speed try G2G Quart jars. This can take as little as 7 days or if you are really lucky a week

I'm with them, g2g is the jam.
FWIW tho, when I did LI>bags more, I was doing 150ml water + 100mm plate (mostly colonized) blend/pulse (i never timed it, but i would check for any remaining large pieces of agar and pulse again until they were gone) and pour 75ml into two bags with about 4-5 qts each. it was slower than g2g, but faster than 2.5 weeks, maybe 10 days
LI doesn't have any nutritional backing like grains and regular LC, so it takes bit to get going.

Cool. Thanks everyone. I will try more water.
Because I am having success with letting the LI sit for a day on the grains, I wonder if anyone has something to share on this... I read somewhere here that this sitting allows the agar to rehydrate with the extra water from the LI and that the mycelia first recolonizes the agar, then leaps off to the grains.
I kinda want to squirt the LI broadly on the top surface and wait maybe 4 days and see how much growth I can get before a shake.
Thanks again! T
