Grab any of these bags of store manure.
Lowes Packaging: Just Natural

Homedepot Packaging: Timberline Soil

I guess they just repackage there cow manure for retailers, but both come from the same company:
Oldcastle Lawn and Garden, Inc. www.myoldcastle.com
*) Put a crumbled brick of coir into a bucket and pour 4 quarts of the hottest tap water onto it and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
*) Now mix it up like this: 40% Bag Poo/ 40% Hydrated Coir/ 20% Verm; or 2 scoops of poo, 2 scoops of hydrated coir, and 1 scoop of verm
*) Bring to field capacity using the hottest tap water.
*) Dont wait for things to cool off. Immediately after, While the substrate is still warm, throw in your spawn, mix it all up really good and pour it into your tub/ bucket. The warm substrate WILL NOT harm the mycellium, on the contrary, it will boost up the humidity inside the tub really fast.
Have never EVER needed to pasteurize using this method.
((WARNING)) This does not work with BLACKOW Manure. This tek only has worked for me using Old Castle (Just Natural/ Timberline) bagged manure.

I should mention. From beginning to end, all this is done and left on my back screened porch, where there is a good/ natural breeze all day long, never any stagnant air, good ambient lighting and optimal temperatures.
I have never tried this indoors and dont know if it will give the same results.
Somebody else on here needs to try this and see if we have the same results.

Well duh. Of course it works for outdoor grows. That should be mentioned in the op. Try it indoors and it will fail.

In my beginning i killed my spawn once doing exactly that. So maybe it does work because your tap water is not setup that hot, but it varies greatly from place to place. I'd say that by luck your hot tap water happens to be at the right temperature.
And btw if it don't kill your spawn, it's certainly not hot enough for pasteurizing

Naw dude, it wasnt enough. I mean common man, really? Your sounding like a hater at this moment. Yes, I mentioned the idea, but never explained anything in it.

Not at all interested in discussing this again. Idc how lucky you think you are, pasteurization is needed for a reason.
Pretty sure last time I also told you that I have done it and got coprinoids and insects. But that was field gathered poo, and done indoors.
Edit I did say that..

I wouldn't be shocked if these brands do pasteurization or something before shipping. There's no way it'd be clean every time if they were just pasture picked poo

Lol or you could look at your brand's and tell me if they treat it with heat before distribution. Just saying.

Technically it is still grown in a bucket, its just placed outside on my patio screened porch. With the right conditions, why wouldn't it grow indoors? Am just using the benefit of natures tropical resources(lighting, temp, air) to my advantage.

No it doesn't get treated at all! If you look thru my past post, Ive been tinkering with this for a while and have had a few hiccups.
Will post pics of the new yields when they fruit (about 2 weeks)
But, in the meantime...........
