Hypothetically Speaking

I quote, from a lot RRs posts: when putting a tub into FC, sterilty does not matter anymore, just focus on massive amounts of FAE, because according to him, stale air helps trich and molds thrive, so lots of FAE.
Now, I am quoting again, from a lot of members post: misting and evaporation is a main trigger of pinning.
So, hypothetically speaking. Why not just open your tub, when its ready for FC and blast it directly with a fan all day, and mist often. Then maybe mist and enclose at night for humidity purposes
Seriously, has anybody ever fucked around and tried it before?

You would never be able to mist often enough to keep your substrate from drying out. The rate of evaporation would be far too high.
You're referring to pinning being triggered by evaporation of surface water (which creates a level of high humidity directly above the surface not achievable with a fan pointed at your sub). The humidity caused by this evaporation would be immediately blown away by that much moving air.
Remember that while FAE helps growth, mushrooms can only attain great size with great amounts of water, so it's vital that the substrate not dry out. The majority of the moisture comes from the substrate material, which acts like a reservoir while fruiting, and it holds much more water than misting can provide.

Its called open air fruiting, basically spawning in an open container of some sort and keep misting. We run monos so we can just set it and forget it.

That's basically how I used to have my green house set up. I had an ultrasonic fogger that could pump up the humidity in a hurry and a decent sized fan constantly pumping in a ton of fresh air. A lot of species need tons of fresh air.so this kind of set up is necessary to grow indoors.
For cubs in a tub though. You would need to be home all day misting if you plan on blasting your substrate with a fan.

"blasting" your substrate with a fan is a really bad idea
