Man if you have heart issues you need to take it easy and not put stress on it just for the sake of getting high.

Shrooms don't directly effect the heart or blood pressure. But with any kind of excitement or fear the heart rate will increase naturally. With shrooms being psychotropic they play heavy on the mind, so now that you have it in your head that they are effecting your heart it will be very hard to overcome that thought process. Placebos do however work wonders for things like this, like for instance maybe just possibly taking ibuprofen before dosing will correct the issue

shrooms can affect the heart, heavy useage can do damage through induced platelet aggression etc. substances that stimulate 5ht2 receptors have been linked to cardiac fibrosis. so i am trying to find a solution to it and its a shame shrooms have a high selective affinities to these receptors. however its not as bad as it sounds and i ony think very very heavy users might be in danger but i want to be as safe as possible people say just dont do them regularly but i want to be ultra safe is possible

If that's the case then you can't take something to stop said damage. That affinity to said receptors is a large reason for their effects. Just don't do them regularly and you'll have (probably) nothing to worry about!
If you don't mind me asking what is wrong with your heart?
I have an aortic valve replacement, was performed in 2012. I know of at least one other member that had the same procedure done. You're not alone

Somebody in NZ died from heart complications after eating psilocybin mushrooms. She was an exceptionally rare case though, as she was the recipient of a heart transplant.

Meditate and focus on your breathe, learn to calm yourself and remind yourself that mushrooms are remarkably safe from a physical stand point....Maybe take a mild dose of a benzo, or look into some valerian root, or have a beer or two to calm you down before or during the trip .
Sounds like this whole thing lays within you rather than the mushrooms...Your own worry about heart issues, anxiety and "freaking out" is likely what's creating your high blood pressure and heart rate.
High blood pressure and a fast heart rate is not an inherent effect/aspect of mushrooms.

Define "heavy usage"....
And mushrooms aren't really a drug that people use "heavily", I don't know of anyone (even on the shroomery from all the years I've been on here) that would be considered a "heavy user" of mushrooms.
I honestly do not feel that psilocin is in anyway detrimental to the heart/body.
Are you one of those folks that have some sort of anxiety/phobia about heart issues?

Dude it's fucking bullshit. You keep worrying over nothing.
There's no evidence to suggest that all 5-HT2B receptor agonists do that. You already made another thread out of this and in none of the links that you posted did it say anything about psilocybin.
P.S. Mushrooms don't speed up your heart rate, you're psyching yourself out.
