I cant find composted cow manure locally but i did manage to buy this and was wondering if this will work ? if so what is the proper way to pasteurize it and correct ratios using verm and coir. If not then ill call local horse farms to try to get fresh horse poo

Yea, but u will be paying for it. One of the best parts of using poo is that it's free and can be found locally IMO
if u use that, might be a bit muddy so not sure on ratio. Probably 50 50 with some other stuff.
Try to gather dry poo nuggets. Fresh is last resort
I pasteurize poo for 2 hours BTW 140-160f

This will be my last resort if i cant find any locally but im calling around today and searching in groups to see if anyone has any at their farm or so. I tried to use it before, mixed it with verm and coir but i didnt pasteurize it right and turned bad so if i might just wait it out and not risk it. All the forums on here dont have much info on using composted store bought manure either so i guess it shouldnt be used.

At 50 50 mix, a 5 gallon bucket of nuggets should last u a few tubs.
U can use that stuff and I'd bet it would work if ur spawn was good and u had some coir and Verm and gypsum in there if it's greasy or muddy, but u could also just use coir Verm until u find poo ur comfortable with. Don't use poo that makes u feel weird

Thats what I use, and have had great success without any pastization.
Lowes Packaging: Just Natural

Homedepot Packaging: Timberline Soil

I guess they just repackage there cow manure for retailers, but both come from the same company:
Oldcastle Lawn and Garden, Inc. www.myoldcastle.com
*) Put your brick of coir into a bucket and pour 4 quarts of the hottest tap water onto it and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
*) Now mix it up like this: 40% Bag Poo/ 40% Hydrated Coir/ 20% Verm
*) Bring to field capacity using the hottest tap water.
*) Afterwards, throw in 2 quarts of spawn, mix it all up really good and pour it into your tub/ bucket.
Have never EVER needed to pasteurize using this method.
((WARNING)) Do not try this with BLACKOW Manure. This tek only has worked for me using Old Castle (Just Natural/ Timberline) bagged manure.
