Psilocybe Cyanescens - Cellar Grow 2

So the story:
- Print to Agar cleaned a bit, maybe 1-2 transfers.
- Sugar cane LC 3 % no constant stirring.
- Sterilised Millet with CaCO3 and gypsum (just a little)
- Millet to hot water soaked cardboard sheets, then fattening up with pasteurisd woodchips (mixed, mostly accacia and walnut)
- They eat this shit from July
The first pin appeared in september, and then started to grow some out. Not much. (Considered furst flush) I thought they don't have a good casing, so I covered with Bucketed CVG They chewed into and died back to the humid region. And 1-or 2 weeks ago I saw this number of pins, and some maturing fruits.
(98 % RH and 13-14 C° FAE 15min/1h)
Enjoy:

Awesome. I would try this but I can't keep the temperature at ~ 13°C This tray fruited in a GH or tub/sgfc?

incredible!
Well done
Im trying to get spores to germ on some old, wet wood chips. Not luck so far. I might have to try going grain to carboard then chips to make this work for realz.
Congrats

Thank You all
1. not a greenhouse, this whole cellar is for mushrooms
2. If you have trouble with spore germination, try to sterilise woodchips and inject spore syringe into it. Also try with grains and leave the grains under 16C°

Wood chips are not broken down enough to give good speed for germination, will take months. While cardboard is broken down enough, it is weak in nutrients, and contains resins.
I've seen Cyan's spores on T-Agar, and Azures on spent tea bags.
Both wood and card contain very little solubles.

It's a small cellar painted white with some lime paintings. Have some vent to blow fresh air in
Temps are 10-12 nowadays, heading to 4 C° as last years minimum. I have an oil radiator but not intend to use it until my Eryngii-s going down, then I go for 14 C° with a termostat. The cellar is serve as a mycelium warehouse if winter is killing my beds. When my oysters and others are start running, they will be cleaned and start feeded for spawn producion, and the cellar will be disinfected, bleached, and get some shelves. (I hope)

Allenii-s Tricked, and pinning. They fruited, and put with tinfoil into a warm place for 4 weeks and then to a colder place like 16 C°

And the pine chip tub, need to feed more pines to them:

Cyans:

So they seems like aborting.
And the late guys, Subaeruginosa. They started to like the cellar weather.

Peace

Beautiful grows man, but one thing seems off to me - both the Cyans and Subs look too small to me. I would assume they are not getting enough light, or is there a different issue? I've never seen such small Cyans.

That is right, but the problem is with the FAE. My King oysters are small capped too, that causes the stem elongation and small caps, i think. (my venting system is a mess almost none )
Also wondering that they are MS cultures, and the cyans almost got no woodchips, and they not digested enough so there are many variables. Wait for this year I've got a cool allenii clone, and a good Cyan clone (codename Odin) and I gained some serbica, they are already down there with subaeruginosas (cannot clone that motherf*cker) I've got 16 tubs down there they are almost ready, they will get a layer in the middle of June to get them fat, then I case with coir for a good casing.
Hope my autumn will serve you guys some wonderfull pictures
Peace

Great to hear from you! I was impressed with your Allenii grows (and the fact that they grow at almost room temps). If you give them good FAE next time, I'm sure you can expect a good canopy or two.

2017 ...
From summer to here just 2 C° of drop happened. (20->18 C° ) 1 week before this state. So 18 C for one week is enough for pinning trigger, maybe lights to 6 h on and 18 off is also a trigger. They are Ps. Cyan. (Codename: Odin and a cloned one) in a cellar. Note that there is no temp fluctuations, just slow dropdown.
Proudly present my 2017 first magic cellar cyan pin

This is an uncased woodchip tub. The CVG cased tub shows some knotting, and the cactus mix peat combo is colonising that, they will late. It is interesting that PS Allenii don't show anything (yet)
Check back about a week later

Allenii knotting, cannot take picture right now.
An outdoor allenii bed also started to pin, it is a gerilla grow deep down in an acacia forest. Made from a bed cleaning action's remaining mycelium earth and fresh chips. From april to august they grow over that substrate and at the edges (mostly big twigs and stones i can see hard knotting and small blue ringed pins
Pic if I not forget to bring my camera there

Congratulations on both the indoor grow, and proving temperature is key. Thank you for providing temperature related fruiting information.

Quick question, is this high O2 fruiting, or top removed for images?

Tops allways off the cellar holds high humidity for fruiting, but not have the desired FAE, but until I have oysters down there I don't care if caps a bit smaller

ohh and the finals... They looks beautifull

And the outdoor allenii beds are producing nice fruits too.

I got Ovoid stembuts from a very good member here (Thanx bytheway ) So they started to run on cardboard and I'll clone them onto agar to get mass production of spawning material. Hopefully this spring holds some ovoid fruits for me.

So couldn't he now start breeding for domestication? Like each tub take a nice looking specimen and use it's spores for the next tub, and slowy over time get them to adapt to indoor conditions?

Need to clarify these are allenii also woodlover also active Cyans need less temperature, they start but they abort at 16-18 C°
Cynans looks like this

Also allenii is domesticable, this is a clone from a 2015 fruit, what is grow from a cardboard spawn bucket. And much easier than cubes, no need for the extra cleanness and you need only a handfull of spawn and a ton of woodchips.

So the new year is on, and the cellar holds the most ideal temps for woodlovers.
allenii:

Ps. cyanescense: I think they like more the 13 C° range than the 16-18C°

And my first serbica, not good tubs, but at least I have some to clone.

And finally a flower pot with woodchips and sawdust in my backroom:

Bets are on, odds on allenii...
Happy new year!

Oh and forget to mention, tomorrow I intend to clean up the blacked and cased cyan tubs, and soak them, then get into room temp (20-24) for a month. in february I'll place back to see if they can be tricked. We will see...

Sorry forgot to update this post.
After 4 weeks of replacement those 2 tubs into the cellar, I saw pins... This pic is not from today, but you see the thing.

They will abort I suppose, because of the emerging temperatures
Alenni are better. These tubs won't be so prolific as they were in the autumn.
Have a nice Day.
