It seems as though you have become aware of one of the marks of existence ie : impermanence.
Maybe you have finally comprehended that even the psychedelic experience is impermanent and has its pitfalls like everything else.
I note that as a keystone in human development /comprehending that even states of consciousness and mind are only temporary. Psychedelics are not the end all be all. They are just drugs. Do you feel the same way when the day is ending and its time to retreat from activities and sleep?
Do you eat a meal and then half way through wonder how much longer you will have to enjoy such sumptuous nourishment?
Or feel a euphoric feeling or see a arousing art piece and worry for when it will end?
Knowing all existence is marked with impermanence? Going into it clearly knowing its beginning, middle, and end, why do you hinder yourself worrying? worrying only clutters the mind more so and so speeds up the death of the very thing it wishes to clutch at more so and longer.
Eye & ear & nose, tongue & body & mind: when a monk has these doors well guarded — knowing moderation in food, restraining his senses — he experiences ease: ease in body, ease in mind. Not burning in body, not burning in mind, whether by day or by night, he lives in ease.

If you had a lifetime supply of your favorite chocolate, how many would you eat?
