That's right, you know fuck all about manufacturing just like Trump. We're doing fine without your "help". Cut China out of the equation and you'll cripple industry.

I take it you haven't been paying attention to how government works for very long.
Btw, Trump isn't bringing shit back. Jobs were lost due to tech and automation, not government influence. The trend will continue until people realize that they have to develop new skills for a new market, which is literally the same trend that's been repeating itself since 90% of farming jobs were replaced by mechanization over a hundred years ago.

Lol what? Please provide the mechanism by which nuclear could "eat up" more energy than it produces. It may produce waste and require a lot of water for cooling, but the notion that nuclear is a net energy drain is batshit insane.

Who's saying "cut china out?"
You should try following the actual conversation rather than just making shit up

While downsizing can certainly occur due to that. That doesn't explain why these factories no longer exist all. Does America not have access to "tech and automation"?
Even the most automated factories still need people to run and maintain them

Yeah I was wondering that. I mean what about the law of conservation of energy? It's not like there's a shortage of energy, and the best arguments I see against nuclear are mostly scare tactics that are actually feasible to overcome with careful planning and implementation.

Ok how exactly is he going to be competitive with China then? How will he "bring jobs back"? Ask nicely?

Would you agree?
In essence Greed is the ruling human emotion for most cultures, followed by violence and then control, then political discourse, then slavery and non participants.
Where do shroomery mods fit into this pyramid of power?

The currencies are manipulated today, fix that problem and that's how the US becomes competitive.
If the currencies were allowed to trade freely, we wouldn't be in this mess.

We're talking about the united states of america here? I would love to have a hard backed currency but our competitiveness is tied to our fake economy. I hate to think the turmoil splitting from that would bring, and a rich cunt like Trump certainly ain't the one to look to for that.

The Chinese Yuan is going to have to appreciate at some point and the US Dollar is going to have to depreciate at some point.
It's coming whether policymakers want it for not, nature always wins at the end of the day.

Yeah it's fair competition, aka the free market. I think they deserve it the sacrifices they have taken as a people, and I think we have to be careful to encourage the right ones among them. There are good, caring Chinese no doubt, and many of them have suffered greatly, as have all people, but nobody can say they aren't willing to do whatever it takes to compete.
