Eating during onset

Will eating during the onset of shrooms hinder the experience? I took about 2 grams about an hour ago and I'm not feeling it, but then again I have no idea what I'm looking for. The only symptom I have is crazy hunger, similar to the munchies. Will eating make the mushrooms less likely to take effect?

I have been advised eating carbs will diminish the effects of you have a bad trip. So yes, eating will decrease the effects of your trip. I try to avoid it when I trip.

I think it's best to fast before any trip, but also not to be starving either, light things are OK to eat an hour before you trip, such as fruit or veggies, or maybe yogurt with fresh fruit, but I would stay away from heavy foods such as meats, cheeses, and breads before tripping.
I think a smoothie an hour before you plan on dosing would be a good idea, plus if you use lots of berries/green you give your brain a boost for the upcoming trip.
I often indulge in fresh cut fruit when I am a couple hours into my experience, pineapple, mango, papaya, cherries, bananas, any soft fruit is really good when you're dosed, I think ripe pineapple is my favorite though.

I am usually able to eat about 2 hours after I know I am tripping. Never can eat much but I can eat an apple or something small. I trip fine 3-4 hours after a meal. Not like thanksgiving diner stuffed but enough of a meal that I am not hungry. I once ate my fresh shroomies with some Funions. Didn't have any thing else to eat that day between waking up and dosing though.

Sometimes it takes eating a little something after ingesting to sort of help push the mush through, in the case you find yourself in now op, not feeling anything.
If your belly can handle it, grab something light to eat, it may kick your trip into effect a little more.
I remember reading about the guy hiking 2600 miles or something, taking psyches along the way. I recall a mushroom experience he describes where he takes a few grams in capsules but doesn't feel any effects until after eating a candy bar or something. He had waited a couple hours and reported light effects until after he had eaten.
Again,
