Azurescens in East Bay? ID Request

Been watering a known p. cyanescens spot over the last month and taking a few as they mature and start to dry up.
The last time I was out I saw a few mushrooms that were very similar to the cyans, but with a thicker stem, and different-shaped cap. It wasn't convex like allenii, but also wasn't flat or wavy like cyans.
I didn't collect any because I thought they were too immature, but yesterday I couldn't help myself, and harvested one. There were several others that were all about the same size.
You can see the bluing on the Cyan (left) as well as the one on the right.

Note the shape of the cap, and the thickness of the stem. The cap also seems thicker.

The suspects also seemed to be a little more gregarious in their growth-patterns than the cyans, and the stipes seemed slightly longer.
I know the pictures are awful, but hopefully they're good enough. Spore print is purple but faint (probably due to immaturity).
What else should I check for? Is it possible they're just a different phenotype of the cyans?

both are definitely Cyanescens great find! Cyans have slimy caramel colored caps, the caps tend to become wavy when mature and will stain blue upon bruising. Out here the stems can be as thick as an Ovoid so when it comes to the stem just make sure the stem's solid and bruised blue. Keep it up!

That second pic looks like something straight out of A Scanner Darkly.
And nice find.
