Thank you!!
Well after HOURS of research I think I found out what type of shelving I will be going with..It's DIY, CHEAP AF, and easy to keep clean. Check out this video, it's what they're using

I do not know if you considered this style of shelves, but it is the one I will probably be building from GrOwer. I do have a few proposed modifications I am considering that I will be happy to share if you are interested.

That's the same style shelving in the previous video. It's conduit shelving, which is pretty standard for most farms that grow shiitake.
Nice work lil. posting a farm update soon, keep an eye out!

Ohh man I have watched all of growers videos like a million times, watched the evolution of What the fungus's farm. Grower(Myers Mushrooms) has a great shelving setup, it's cheap, reliable, adjustable, and best of all it's easier to clean than WTF's setup for shelving. Unfortunately I do not own a welder at the moment so the Vertical supports wont work for me with his setup. I do like how they did it in the video I posted above though and is doable for me, using treated/painted 2x10's for the vertical supports and just drilling holes through them for the horizontal PCV tubes. It looks as if it's half the cost of the galvanized tubing when price comparing. Either way IM EXCITED AF

Meh, you can look at my shelves which were super cheap tho not super structurally stable. 2x4 metal studs with metal cross bracing and 1/2 conduit. About $1500, holds about 1000-1500 blocks depending if they're shiitake or oyster

Alrighty, thought I would post a small update from the farm. Been busy as hell! I made a lot of changes to my green house so I'll just start from the start. I inflated the end walls with a double layer of poly and re-dressed the entire outside with white 6mil plastic. I'll post pics when I can get a good shot in the day light. This decently insulates the green house and reflects a lot of heat away from the room.
I installed new lights.16 T-8's 2800 lumens each. It's bright as fuck. With the size of my room it works out to something like 1700 lux.

New waterproof box for all the timers and whatnot.
Ducted the a.c. unit intake outside and installed a 6" inline fan to aid fresh air intake. To avoid it running 24/7 I removed the temperature probe and mounted it just outside the unit. Works great so far and will keep my a.c. unit healthy for a long time to come. All props to drake for the idea.

I put a powerful fan and bug zapper in front of the door. It acts as an air shield keeping insects from entering when I open the door.
The new walk in cooler I built this week. It's 4×4x8 with a 10kbtu window unit and r25 insulation. It's keeps at about 36-38. Just installed the siding but didn't get a pic.

And just a set up of my booth at one of our markets.
We are at 120lbs a week now and climbing. Starting several other farmers markets this month and took on about 6 new restaurants, our local food hub and a 2 local grocery stores. I have never been so busy in my life, but I'm having a blast.

Looking good. all you guys.
just throwing this out there in case people weren't in the no. Spray foam is highly flammable, Almost explosive. By all means i am not putting any one down. It's more about protecting all your hard work from an unfortunate accident. It's really easy once the foam is hard to use a utility knife and cut the foam flush with your wall/insulation and cover it with that silver ducting tape or the like. That power strip encased in spray foam is a flash fire waiting to happen. The slightest spark from plugging in something or the reset tripping is all it would take. Some people my family new moved to fairbanks and thought it would save money on the bills by covering there whole mobile home in that stuff. Besides looking like hell, it burned to the ground one day before everyone could get out. It was that fast. Literally dripping molten fire like plastic or lava.

Thanks for the word on that. Good advice to be safe not sorry. It's not encased in the spray foam there's actually quite a bit of space between it and the foam, it's just an odd angle from the camera. The strip is also gfci so if it ever was to trip it gets cut dead instantly. It would be easy enough to just move the strip to a different area in the cooler too.

I think his heatshield tape idea would be a good idea to cover the foam once you cut it flush. Thanks for the heads up NC that's scary stuff.

you guys are killing me! just got back from overseas and had to close up shop when i left, now I'm back without a grow room and I have to look at all this! Well, guess i know what i'll be working on today!
liloldme, really like the structure you're working on. are the metal frames part of a kit? and i'm guessing the subfloor was pressure treated wood? and what did you cap it with? build up three of those, fruiting room, colonizing room, and lab!

Hey man, it all unfolds in its due time! Just 3 years ago I was in a 1 bedroom apartment with 0 growing equipment trying to figure out how to turn my bathroom into a lab and now I'm here doing it for a living! I wish you luck.

The rest of the pics from the update yesterday. The white plastic I posted about yesterday and the intake for the modified a.c. I put my 50% shade cloth on the South facing end and it helps cut the heat from the sun.

Switched around my bagging table a bit. Much faster now.

Good job! I am amazed that you are getting 120lbs/week out of that set up.
You can also buy fire resistant spray foam, and even better "Insta stick" (Dow Corning) which is a cross between a really powerful glue and a gunned low expansion foam. Sticks dry wall up, insulation board to wood or itself and anything else to anything else. Not cheap but I built most of my farm with it.
