Introducing spores to an area?

I have property in Tasmania in a Eucalyptus forest and I've found Subs further down the hill alongside the road and in a few paddocks but despite many hours of searching my own and the surrounding properties I've never seen them grow around the top of the hill. The property is VERY wet and the ground is covered in rotting eucalyptus leaves and bark so it looks really quite perfect but for some reason theres just none. I was thinking of putting heaps of spores in a weed sprayer with water then just walking round spraying. Has anyone tried this or anything similar with psilocybe subaeruginosa or any other wood-loving species?(I imagine the process would be quite similar)

You can make a clean LC and spray it around. Tried it with Boletus edulis LC with limited but noticeable success.

Thank you, I think I'll try a few different things in a few different areas of the property, alongside Creek etc places that seem like they would get the moisture. Probably gonna be a lengthy project but the goal here isn't to cultivate a huge outdoor patch I'd just like to see some subs around the property. Since I don't have many spore prints I'll spray around what I have and maybe make a liquid culture and try to spread it around a certain area. Next season I think I'll print nearly every find and do a large scale on whichever method seems to produce the most/any mycelium in the specific area. I will post pictures of any success on this thread.

Its been done with great results. Just spores in sprayer every year each year and add wood mulch.

How much LC did you end up making? Did you just spray it randomly about the yard?

I made about 5 liter and sprayed it with a water gun in the woods on a ~ 50m² area. I should try this again next year + making some photos.
If you want to use a water gun you should blend/mix the LC first or it clogs the the water gun.

Nice! I have done some thinking on this and since I'm not into lC's (life is too busy for Agar work) spawning cvg into a drop spreader would be the way to go. Rake it into the grass then water.
