Start to cultivate my own Cubensis

Dear humans (also non-humans),
until now I "cultivated" my Cubensis using grow kits bought in the Netherlands. As I don't need huge amounts of super potent mushrooms it was fine. But I don't live in NL and have to get them over here. That is a small risk, but I thought it might not be necessary. Do you think it is possible for a beginner to take spores from a grow kit (that I have here right now) and later cultivate more mushrooms on my own? I have read quite a bit on cultivating cubensis (a couple of years ago) and I remember, that I didn't go for it, because I don't have a steril enviroment. I live in a small apartment with only two rooms that I both need. How steril does it really have to be? What is the worse thing that can happen contamination-wise? If you think I could pull this off at home as a beginner, can you point me to some resources you would recommend? I lost all my bookmarks.
Regards

I started from spores harvested from a grow kit. You'll be fine.

Or better skip this damn pf tek
I started about 1-2 months ago with the you are planning.
I bought a grow kit in the netherlands, made spore prints (retrospective I should have taken a clone tissue) and then started directly inoculating agar plates.
You don't need a sterile environment, you just need a Still Air Box, which you can store in your closet or whereever and just get it out, when you need it.
You can see my sAB in my signature, I just bought these "Ravioli" Cans you may know as an european and heatet them on my gas stove. Then I just burned the arm holes in a 60Liter tote

You can find everything there.
I would go this way:
1. Build a SAB 2. Pour Agar dishes 3. Clone the biggest fruit of your grow kit 4. Grow it out a bit and make transfers until you have clean myc 5. Start with Rye Jars (see spitball jedis "Rye Spawn Tek") 6. Mini Mono Tub (see the link above)
If it seems complicated for you, it is not as complicated as it seems. If it still is, you could of course start with PF Tek until you gained the knowledge by reading to do the stuff above.

Frank is great! He explains to a level of detail I always appreciated and always seemed to approach mycology as a scientist. I definitely recommend: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19792837
Good luck mate. May the mycologist spirit live within you.
