Possible to grow "grocery store" white and portabella mushrooms indoors?
    #23885982 - 12/01/16 09:42 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

I love the fuck out of growing mushrooms. I want to grow mushrooms that more people than just I can eat ie the psychs.

I don't love the taste of oyster or shiitake mushrooms, but I very much enjoy white buttons and portabellas.

Are these easy to grow inside? Easy as cubes?

Thanks for any help. Also no, I didn't search, drunk and lazy. Very sorry.

No they aren't that easy but pretty similar to cubes if you can grow cased trays it's basically the same.

I've grown portabellos, they are slow as hell compared to Cubes, I managed to get them to grow under a casing in a large monotub.
The fruits were enormous, and I started from cloning a Portabello from the grocery store.

I used black garden soil mixed with leeched dung as the substrate.
