correct pH

when working with casings. lime can be added to adjust the pH.
my friend is having trouble finding lime flour around here, but found this. "Correct pH" Maintains neutral pH in community tanks (between 6.8 - 7.2) and holds it for several weeks. would this work?!

yes , it could work ... Well if you have a PHmeter , then make acidic water with peat and then add some of theese crushed tabs ... You'l see how much you need to put in how much water to neutralise it . If you don't have PHmeter you can use litmus indicator's ...

Vein , are you playing a prank or being serious ?
What exactally are you asking if being serious ?
Is it okay to use the product you showed to alter PH of casing material ?
No , Hydrated lime can be bought at a nursey \ Home Depot , is very easy to alter PH into the alkaline side of scale , which mushies hate even more than a slightly acidic side like peat has (aprox 3-5 on acidic side of scale ) , which mushies will actually grow , so IMHO limimg is not worth time or trouble . If concerned with staying neutral use coco coir\ verm mix instead it usually sits around 6-7 in PH
Good Luck and keep your fish away from the shrooms
