I Never took spore Prints but they throw Spores after they have grown out. Just make a Spore Print like You would do with Cubes

And if you want to inoculate an Agar Plate, you just take some spores from the tea bags?

You could put an agar block on the bag, or use a sterilized wood toothpick. Or you could cut the bag up, should be able to sprinkle it.

I just buy it as lime and it's not written on the Package But from the consistency i'd say its hydrated

Great stuff. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I'm currently experimenting with straw pellets as a substrate for Oysters. How did you get away with not pasteurizing the straw? I'm assuming the method you used would have sterilized the straw?
