Harmless mycena?
    #23883289 - 11/30/16 10:51 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

Hello! I am most likely wasting your time: this post is for my dogs.
There are many poisonous mushrooms appearing around my area. These guys started coming up in my backyard and my mother is very concerned. I believe they are Mycenas. Does anyone know if these are poisonous mycenas? My dogs are going to eat these because they are dumb animals and do not check the shroomery board first. They eat everything in my backyard...

Try the hunting and identification forum, those don't look like mycena to me though. Mycena will have white gills. Take a spore print to aid identification, I have a feeling it's going to be orange.

I was getting my back worked on, apologies for the late response. I took a spore print. It turned out white! So... I think they are okay for dumb dog consumption. Mycenas are harmless from what I've researched
