Shrooming outside of tripping.

Hey y'all,
So the second time I took a healthy dose of psylocibyn mushrooms I was at a classical music concert in the balcony not knowing what to expect. Suddenly I get this cold sensation throughout my body, warm waves feel like they're gliding over me, my stomach is turning a bit, and my hands are sweating. This sensation became very distinct to me so when it happened to me during a choir rehearsal tonight and I was only high for it, it make me a little concerned and curious as to why it suddenly happened again. It was the same feeling as the time I was on the mushroom, but less prolonged. I was curious if any of you ever get random moments when a part of a mushroom trip might suddenly pop up in your regular life. Also, how do you deal with it?

It's not PTSD. It's totally normal and will go away in time.

Well you guys dont ever seem to want to blame the drugs, but it is HPPD. It should go away with time if you don't dose reguardless of caution.

No I don't think so. Real HPPD is rare as fuck and most people who claim to have it don't actually have it.
Life being different after a psychedelic experience is normal it's not HPPD.

What constitutes real HPPD in your opinion? I've definitely increased an increase in visual snow, floaters, light halos and afterimages in my daily life. I don't get any derealisation but the visual effects can be somewhat annoying, especially in the dark, because it's harder to see than before. It doesn't bother me too much, I kinda like it when the cabinets breathe when laying in bed or trying to cook a meal.

Your mind is just more open now, it's supposed to happen. It doesn't happen to a lot of people though because they have bad memories. These are the kind of people that don't even remember what life was like before psychedelics, the psychedelics seemed to change them but they don't even realize it. They always blame it on simply "growing up" but it's qualitatively different from that.
What constitutes HPPD at all is my question.
I would personally constitute "Real HPPD" as being full on spontaneous psychedelic trips coming out of nowhere (similar to flashbacks) but longer and sometimes even constant, I would never consider just seeing floaties, snow or colors or whatever HPPD that's just silly. Our eyes play tricks on us all the time and come on psychedelics obviously change the human mind long term it's not good or bad it just happens, it's supposed to happen. In the 60s when psychedelic drugs first came on the scene they said "Don't take it unless you are prepared to be a different person afterwards and have a more open consciousness", I'm obviously generalizing/paraphrasing but you get it.
Just another cool and interesting thing psychedelics do that we wont hear any scientific consensus on for probably several more decades because they block fucking research.

A minor flashback, remanants of the psilocin floating in the confines of your synapses is less likely.
Your brain's pathways have changed since that last trip, maybe you activated the pathway and triggered a memory resulting in what is known as a very minor version of HPPD, you would label it PTSD if it was causing you severe stress that interferes with daily life, but usually they are just a short quick anaomoly.
If you really want to get deep into it, it's a form of time travel, since the past present and future are all happening simultaneously you basically had a "dejavu" moment. Or a monent of conscious synchronicity.
We're all dreaming here, it's just a matter of waking up and being conscious that you are. It seems you successfully completed the latter, you are just seeking confirmation.

OP, I don't think it's unusual to experience little things throughout your regular day-to-day life that remind you of previous trips. It happens from time to time, and I wouldn't worry about it.
I can only remember one time I strongly experienced it for myself. I was walking around town and happened to look at a fairly far-off hill which was covered by trees. For a second, all of the trees were moving/warping exactly like they do on mushrooms, which pretty much stopped me in my tracks with surprise as I was stone cold sober. After a moment I realised that they were all moving in the wind, and I wasn't having a 'flashback' -- but that split second where I felt like I was tripping despite being totally sober was pretty weird. It stuck with me.
