Berkeley Mushroom ID Request

Habitat: Grassy dirt in north Berkeley. Tree approximately 8 feet away. Grown in a cluster next to another larger mushroom.
Gills: Grey-ish
Stem: About two inches in length. Miniscule diameter. Seems hollow from looking at a nearby broken one given that it split into four sections, but hard to tell given its size
Cap: About half an inch diameter. Picture attached

I would just call it Coprinellus sect. Setulosi. Kind of looks like what people used to call C. impatiens, but there are a lot of poorly studied species that kind of look like that.

Oh OK. Cool, Byrian.
Sirsnurfle, while you're waiting for better studies to be released about C. impatiens you can check out this link to see species in the same species grouping, http://www.mushroomexpert.com/coprinellus_disseminatus.html

Much appreciated!
The article posted definitely describes the experience I had when attempting to handle one of them (it broke up very quickly and become mush)

To be fair I don't think C. disseminetatus and C. impatiens are in the same group besides both being Coprinellus sect. Setulosi. Its a hard genus, sorry I don't have more helpful answers...
Here is a key to the section, but the names are outdated and its intended for Europe. http://www.grzyby.pl/coprinus-site-Kees-Uljee/species/Coprinus.htm#C
