Shiitake FC rebuild log

After building the first version of the humidity/cooling system for my shiitake tent, I've decided to rebuild it. Hepa filtration must be Incorporated as well as a evaporative cooling system. The old system consisted of a tote with two 12v computer fans hacked into the top, with an air stone and 3 disc fogger inside the tote providing humidity.
The old system

After running this setup for a couple weeks i realized that; -The fogger barely runs as it stays 100% humidity -Trichoderma growth on the blocks set in very quickly -Temperature rises quickly even with a small 8w led bulb
so the priorities of the next setup must be hepa filtration and cooling.
Lets begin with a few of the materials needed. -4 inch tornado inline fan -International Growers Supply Hepa filter -3 way pvc connectors -humidifier pads -new tote -4 inch to 3 inch metal reducer -two 4 inch to 3 inch plastic reducers

Next, assemble the fan and hepa

Mount the assembly to the ceiling beside the tent

The cord isn't long enough so that is changed.

Tie the assembly into the controller

Drill holes in the tote, screw and seal the plastic reducers on

Next, build a pvc frame to hold the humidifier pads. i used the electrical conduit because its way cheaper than the schedule 40 pvc

Mount the frame to the tote

install the water pump, air stone and fogger.

push the water line into the humidifier pads

fill with water and we are done!

The finished assembly

If anyone is wondering, that is my well filtration system in the background. it has nothing to do with the tent.

Very cool build. I have been pondering how to better integrate an evaporative cooler into my system and will draw a lot of inspiration from this design. How are you keeping that tote filled with water? Thanks!
