Randomly pulling people over? I'm not really sure how I feel about this. Every comment I've read about the police doing this people just praise the shit outta of this. Is it just me? Cause I can see this going horribly wrong in all kinds of ways. (But then again im black) and more then llikely racist for thinking this?
Article: http://www.viralvo.com/pulled-over-by-cops/
She was targeted and pulled over by the cops, the treatment of her during the holidays is going viral The police officers in Lowell, Michigan are bringing a whole lot of Christmas cheer to motorists they „pull over.“ But instead of doling out traffic ticket after traffic ticket, the officers surprised them with the things that were on their Christmas lists – either things for themselves or their little ones.
At a time where community relationships with the police are strained, these officers are spreading cheer and love – and the attitudes given back reflect the same type of holiday cheer! From little toys to big-ticket electronics, these officers are playing Santa and they do it well!
To add to the holiday spirit, not a single one of the drivers pulled over actually got a ticket. What a fun thing to see people getting blessed unexpectedly! Take a peek at this heartwarming video for yourself by pressing „Play“ below – but beware, you might need a few tissues to dry your eyes!

This is an old video, but it's still creepy in my opinion. Like a plastic fire engine is worth the stress of the pull over, just so that cop can go tell a stripper about it at the club later, or when he beats his kids reminds them of how good they have it.
Crook of shit IMO.
They could just as easy let me know there's gifts at the station when they call my house looking for donations every other day.

I'm of the mindset that I NEVER want to deal with them, presents or not
I'd like to live my life and be left alone, I don't break the law I don't do drugs and I don't bother others
If I could go to work everyday and be left alone otherwise, now that would be a noteworthy present

It's condescending as fuck. I would file a complaint.
Any other day of the year the pig pulls me over and charges me fines for anything he possibly can. But around christmas lets just be satan, but have a sweet new hello kitty bookbag for the kids.
It's like that video those cops made in uniform in their cruiser lip syncing to music and making it go viral. Kiss my ass you filthy fucking swine. You are wasting my money singing on camera, wasting money putting it on youtube, collecting money of the ads on youtube, and on to slaughter you go. Cool story, you can dick off at work and still shoot someones dog. Fucking heros.

Initially it makes a great feel good story about cops actually being humans. Then I think it's just another reason to pull people over and be nosy.

No, it's not. I have nothing to hide, and just because I'd like to be left alone, that doesn't make me a degenerate
And it's quite a different situation if we were to compare canadian police and american police
By the way, you have no control over the officer profiling you in whatever stupid misguided egg headed way he might, and then giving you shit because of it
Like others have said, fuck those stupid ugly fucking mother fuckers

I find it to be beyond what they should be allowed to do and I'd report it and complain. If I'm not suspicious the cops shouldn't come anywhere near me

Because someone is temporarily kidnapping me, stopping me from what I am doing and becoming the one in control of my life, they are covered in protection and openly carry many weapons. Some of us have places to be or, you know, don't need some fucking 9.99 light up cop car.
If the cops wanted to do this without harassing people, they'd go to like walmart and stand outside?

That news article makes it sound like a harmless good deed. It's just another trap. Again if the cops wanted to help they would do this at a neutral location, not your car, not your home.
Would you say it would be chivalrous if the cop saw a girl he recognized from the internet and stopped to give her flowers?
No. That's harassment. So is this.
Sorry, I don't want my tax money going to "pranks"? How is that hard to grasp?

That's some bullshit. If I were in a rush to get somewhere I'd be incredibly pissed if I was pulled over for no reason other than to be used as a PR opportunity for the local police department.
I'd rather see my tax money going to fund paid volunteer days for police do some actual community outreach during the holidays or something.
