I will definitely be checking it out. The stupid thing is that they're sabotaging it in the US and Canada by offering it only on stupid streaming services nobody gives a shit about (one run by CBS in the US and one run by Bell in Canada). In virtually every other country it's available in, it will be on Netflix. I would have been happy to support it through my Netflix fees but instead I guess I'll be pirating it. Fuck if I'm going to sign up for for some other shitty paid streaming service just for one show.

That'd be badass if his name was Stamets. If it's not, it fucking should be!
super awesome fella
I really enjoy The Next Generation, but never saw DS9 or the OG series... But I'll definitely try to give this a watch.
Thanks for posting this. Idk if I would've found out otherwise.

Yeah that's what OP's article says he will be called anyway. That's awesome that you met him. I read a couple of his books on growing and really liked them, but I never really put the material into practice.

I'll be glad when enterprise isn't the most recent series anymore. I kept waiting for bakula to make the final leap home the whole time.

It probably won't last too long.Sci-fi shows tend to get cancelled early.Hope I get proved wrong, though.

Yep. Enterprise was the shortest lived modern Star Trek series and was regarded by many as a flop, and they still made almost 100 episodes of that.

For anyone who hasn't watched any series of star trek, I would reccommend watching Star Trek: Enterprise ... Such a good series even if your not a serious nerd or anything; I just finished it and loved it. Just thought I'd chime in here

Yeah I think they were trying to appeal to people who weren't already Star Trek fans with that one. They didn't even have "Star Trek" in the title when it first came out and the theme song is very un-Trek-like. A lot of Trek fans don't really like Enterprise but I like it in its own way. More technical limitations to the ship, and more of a "pioneering" feel rather than the "we've got it all figured out" of the other series set later in time. I'm not a fan of some of the story arcs with time travel and whatever, but I liked a lot of the regular episodes.

Still very worried about the "main character" thing. How there going to cast a minority female. Whoever the case needs to be REALLY REALLY good otherwise the show will fail.
Im sure it will be a big success all over the world if its on netflix. NA can go fuck itself for hogging the rest of the worlds content. But I can totally see steaming only being a huge success and possibly even a turning point in mainstream TV.... or it just crashes and burns... hard

It was 5 seasons i think, but there was constant talk of cancelling after 3.
I joke about it a lot, but i liked the series.
DS9 is da bestest through

I completely agree with Psi it was so hard for me to watch that after TNG or Voyager even the original series . Enterprise ruined that winning formula so to speak to appeal to more people. It was much more dramatic and then it's predecessors .I've secretly been afraid of them doing that to the new series.

They are currently saying that it's not going to actually be airing on CBS but "CBS All Access " instead its the first show developed specifically for it. So if CBS all access is free atm sign. I hope that's not a monthly thing even if it is it's a little bit annoying not to be able to watch it on the tv.
Just checked it's 6$ a month with commercials.

Yeah it's a stupid move to put it on that IMO. In almost every other country it's going to be on Netflix instead.
