I can bluff the shit out of what I believe in. And don't think I don't.
-------------------- How to get started in bulk: Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs) What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

With respect in values and gratitude for nature there's no need to be defensive because science proves itself.
The humble laptop is a fine example.
I believe in science, evolution and that an anatomical human sentience resides individually within each of us as our brain, spinal cord, heart, gut and nervous system.

Above the water line represents the conscious mind and present experience while below the waterline represents the unconscious mind as mostly intuition and the preconscious as mostly memories and emotional experiences.

"yeah it's called being a parent"
that was just the easiest quick example
as parents want their kids to have high morals but lie to them about sex, cheating on taxes, etc etc ........
Why do women wear makeup and men suits with shoulder pads? And to negotiate at a flea market one essentially lies about what one's willing to pay
Why Everyone (Else) Is a Hypocrite: Evolution and the Modular Mind Paperback – May 27, 2012 by Robert Kurzban Paperback: 288 pages Publisher: Princeton University Press; Reprint edition (May 27, 2012) Language: English ISBN-10: 0691154392 ISBN-13: 978-0691154398
“We're all hypocrites. Why? Hypocrisy is the natural state of the human mind. Robert Kurzban shows us that the key to understanding our behavioral inconsistencies lies in understanding the mind's design. The human mind consists of many specialized units designed by the process of evolution by natural selection. While these modules sometimes work together seamlessly, they don't always, resulting in impossibly contradictory beliefs, vacillations between patience and impulsiveness, violations of our supposed moral principles, and overinflated views of ourselves. This modular, evolutionary psychological view of the mind undermines deeply held intuitions about ourselves, as well as a range of scientific theories that require a "self" with consistent beliefs and preferences. Modularity suggests that there is no "I." Instead, each of us is a contentious "we"--a collection of discrete but interacting systems whose constant conflicts shape our interactions with one another and our experience of the world. In clear language, full of wit and rich in examples, Kurzban explains the roots and implications of our inconsistent minds, and why it is perfectly natural to believe that everyone else is a hypocrite.”

Being the second most bad-ass man on the planet sucks.

Here is Junior Dos Santos (right) before taking a serious ass-beating.
All that training was time that could have better been spent watching TV or internet porn.

No training = no beat down in front of millions.
On the night of that fight I went to bed without a broken nose, humiliation or extreme pain. I woke with no blood on my pillow.

The bluffer's bluffability is only relevant in relation to the bluffee's gullibilty
Personally, i stand for what i believe in, when applicable, though i don't always practice what i preach.
Circumstances, however, don't always allow one to stand for what one believes. Example: I believe, during the process of my arrest and conviction, that my constitutional rights were violated and that my case should have been overturned. However, standing firmly for said belief would have resulted in a jail (potentially prison depending on the crowding-conditions) sentence of 7-10 years. Not standing for what i believed resulted in a negligble probation term with fines, fees, an overall invasion of my privacy, and minor constraints on the use of my time. Thus, not standing for what i believed allowed me to remain in a position where i can continue to stand up for other issues i believe in.

Wow, thanks for that reply. I was about to give up on this thread but you brought it back to life. In fact an amazing reply.
Well, true, you gotta play the player as they say. Most even big dogs will back off if threatened in the "right" way as in a serious threat. It's interesting in poker how much aggression pays off, IF one can convince the opponent they are beat. I don't know if it's being gullible, as much as a con being convincing. Maybe that's the same thing, but there are levels of it and it's all circumstantial, and situational. Was watching an old poker clip where Hellmuth beat the mouth on a hand mouth should have clearly called, but that's why the poker brat has like 14 bracelets and the mouth just keeps blabbing.

I watched a go round with Viffer Peat who actually outbluffed Durr on a big hand the board set it up but still it was a shit ton of money. That doesn't happen much with Durr who is pretty amazing and I like his style too. He does seem quite hated by the other pros, maybe it is because he made his mark online and the brick and mortar pros didn't think he could make it in the flesh.
