Thanks for your input! Talk to your friends and see what they think! I'm all alone in the real world in this aspect of my life so I usually trip alone around my house or in my room with some visually appealing movies. This time Il just listen and relax.

Cool guys!! Il have a listen! What kinda dosage y'all talking about? I can stay Somewhat focused on 3.5g cubes. It gets hard with 2 strips of blotter but I think Il still be there.. Mesc.. Well just gimme what u got. I've never been incoherent on cactus.. Super duper glimmery but still decent train of thoughts.

A nice 100 mcg hit, or no more than a couple grams of shrooms are my preferred dose for this kinda activity.
I can just lay back on this dose and ride the same wave with the lecturer

I too blow my brains out universal!! Neil degrasse Tyson and "cosmos" have made my internals bleed with intrigue and wonder on many occasions.. Visually and intellectually stunning. One of my favs! I feel like lectures might get stale to me but who knows.. Any books that blew ur top lately?

Oh man that series has brought a tear to my eye on a few occasions. Amazing amazing stuff. Just the introduction, with the zooming out of planet earth, solar system, Galaxy...and then the cosmic calendar. Mind blowing stuff, and I love the amazing visual display to go along with the explanation.

I've never tried it, but in the Dark Tower series by Steven King, one of the main characters recounts a time when he used to shoot up and listen to a narration of Lord of the Rings on audio.
Heroin seems pretty awful to me, but the way it was described made the experience seem so warm and comforting. Replace heroin with psychedelics and it could be quite interesting.
Anyways, where am I going with this? ...oh yeah, just that you should check out some fantasy audiobooks if you're gonna try it. Like The Hobbit or something.. I can imagine that would be a blast.
Hmm... maybe I just want to listen to The Hobbit on audio...

That's more along the tracks of my train chakra! It's gotta be a badass narrator though like christopher walken with sound effects and background music. I've got some Edgar Allen poe read by famous people and it's the most ever.
Maybe Il also try it with pst sometime.

It can be really fantastic, I actually listen to podcasts (same sort of thing though). Check out "The Orbiting Human Circus (of the Air)" podcast. It's free on iTunes and probably youtube. It's designed to be a strange radio show broadcasted from the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, with lots of music and stuff mixed in, about 25 minutes an episode. I really enjoyed this while tripping, highly recommend!

I think it has the potential to be pretty cool
I think it would be deeper, and resonate with more impact on a dose
I got one of those Amazon Echo Dots and I'll listen to music on it while I trip, and sometimes I'll put it on NPR late night while I'm tripping, and I swear, the stories and conversation on it are like

when I'm tripping
everything just seems so much deeper when you're in the midst of a trip

Wow I hadn't even considered fiction in this audiobook adventure! Man just imagine in the dark letting your mind paint the scenes and play a whole movie in your imagination... This is a must for me know hehe thanks Chakra!
Also, what's NPR late night? (Niffla)

I made it through alice in wonderland (or whatever the book title was) and through the looking glass while being stoned of my ass the entire time, but I don't know if I could do it on anything more than pot or a light dose of shrooms. That was pretty fun though. I hope Lewis carroll would get a kick out of it.
Some of robert anton wilson's stuff might be worth a try. If I could find the shrondiger's cat trilogy in audiobook format I'd definitely give it a go.
The dark tower series has some of the most dense metaphors I've ever seen in fantasy. I doubt I could get through it while tripping since I struggled through the first book while sober. I think I'd get distracted too quickly.

I haven't tried it for the comedown of a trip. I personally don't think it would be great in that circumstance. It tastes like shit. Try it out by itself first for sure and please for your safety, go slow at first. Each batch differs in potency, I almost overdosed the first time I drank PST because the batch was extremely potent. Drink it slow and wait a while.

I've listened to portions of the power of now on lsd and it was cool, definitely rang true. Terence mckenna lectures are good too. when I'm sober I'll get distracted but when I'm tripping I stay right with him. I havent tried fiction yet. I think radio theatre would be more entertaining than a straight up audiobook.
Heres the magicians nephew (narnia) focus on the family radio theatre. super well done. (not sure what the yugi-oh video is about tho)

Maybe on the comedown but overall its kinda pointless. Audiobooks are like days long
Lectures or something are the way to go. When you are full on tripping the words get eeeeellllloooongated and shit
