PNW Slimy Blue Bruising Mushrooms in Woodchips, ID?

Found these crazies looking for cyans in a local garden that's full of woodchips. Not the grayish blue of cyans, more like teal. Seems more like bruising than actual color as some have varied chestnut and blue caps. Super slimey, too! Some had peppery spots on them, or perhaps this is two different species.
Working on a spore print, from what I see on other mushrooms it may be brown or dark purple. Any chance they're active? Even if not, pretty cool colors.

Don't think so. Think they're blue Stropharia.

Ooh yeah this looks just like it!

Thank you! Cool color in the babies, like a bright pool teal.

Caught that right away. I am curious as to whom Got the fat ass pins I found yesterday.(Dif location) As for the Garden. That Garden sits atop an epic patch back in the day. I still check out of habit. But Not much action since the garden went in. There are a few spots in that Neighborhood. Keep at it. But please respect the residents properties and space. That Neighborhood is fed up with people creeping around. (Urban campers). Just a heads up. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Interesting! I sure wish I was the one who found the pins, but wasn't my harvest! Cool to know it used to be a big patch, maybe if we're lucky they'll come back some day. If they do I'll be sure to leave some for all the local pickers.
That makes sense. I try to stick to the public areas for my hunts! I've had a few sketchy encounters in the area, while peeking at some woodchips the other day I almost stepped on an old needle!
Thanks for the tips, very valuable to a novice like me (:

I approve.
I've re-spored entire cow pastures in Florida, fields that either never produced or stopped producing from over-harvesting, it's possible for just one person to get it going again. I took it a step further by bringing a quart of colonized grain and inoculating a few hundred piles of cow dung.
That field, which was once barren, is now the best field in the southern US. (I also found out PE doesn't do well in the wild)

Yes! I had my first active find this year & printed all the caps before drying to make some spore water. Spread it back where I found them, in a low key wood chip bed for my own picking next year, and then lots to a local park where I know novices go.
It would've felt wrong to just take! It felt respectful to return the spores if I was going to harvest and not allow them to complete their natural cycle.
