How long should I be PC'ing 7quarts of WBS in the extra large bags?
I'm curious if 1.5 hours is enough or will it need more time?

1.5 to 2.5 hours. better 2.5 hours of course. I PC my rye bags for about 2 hours and slowly reduce the heat/pressure.

OK. Better safe than sorry. Why do you use a bag in this size? How much of these bags can you PC at one time? If you get a contam 7qts are gone for nothing. My bags are usually filled with about 4 to 5 quarts of rye. Almost never had problems with 2 - 2.5 hours (only a few exceptions) I PC 5 bags at once.
//edit
LOL I have to admit I underestimated the amount of 7qt in a bag. Just filled a bag with 7qt of grain to check how it looks like
I still recommend to use less amount separated to more bags.

Yeah, 7 quarts is a ridiculous amount of spawn for one bag...
and if it contamed.... *shudder
OP-I would push 2.5 - 3 hours on that thing. 3 if you're doing more than 1 at a time.
I'll stick with my 3 quart bags... 2 to a tub, all day.

Yes I guess that does seem like a lot but I bought the large and xl bags before I knew what I was doing so I don't want to waste them. Actually, I still don't know what I'm doing so I guess I bought those bags when I was completely clueless. Anyways I don't want to waste them and I like the idea of maxing out the space of the PC. I don't mind cooking for longer. I'm inoculating with LC from cleaned up agar wedges so I'm fairly sure I'm minimizing risks but I guess you can never be to certain. Thanks for the tips
