Green mould on oyster spawn

I think I already know the answer to this.. but in the last 48 hours a mould has appeared on my blue oyster spawn -
I'm guessing this is game over.. but I thought I'd check to see what you guys think.
I'm very new to this, and have yet to have success growing (though this is the closest I have got). My grain spawn came out alright -
I then soaked some straw for an hour, pasteurised it for 70 mins(with some calcium hydroxide) and then packed it into a plastic container with the spawn. I then put this into a shotgun terrarium with an thermostatically controlled heat pad and fan -
After 5 days the straw looked like this -
About a week later it was starting to look like it had fully colonised the straw but then this mould has appeared. I think maybe I should have taken more care ensuring the terrarium remained sterile (perhaps applying micropore tape over the shotgun holes?). Any advice anyone can give would be much appreciated..
One question I do have, I know oysters are known for needing a lot of FAE - is this only when they they start to fruit or during the spawning as well?
Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance..

Most oysters like it cool , shouldn't need heat it just helps contaminates. They need air during colonization. It is hard to fruit straw out in the open . Would suggest using plastic bag or maybe plastic bucket and leave it on to fruit. Shotguns will not supply the air they need.

I just wanted to add that the mold you have growing (trichoderma) is a monster. It is very aggressive. Most people when they see the starting signs of the dusty looking mycelium trash their grow and start over. The reason for this is the copious amounts of spores even a small amount of the mold can put out.
There have been people who have relocated their trich infested substrates to a different part of their house to see it out. Or they use different methods to try to kill it or stunt its growth. Sometimes the oyster mycelium will fight it off sometimes not. It's all about the risk you wish to take with the possibility of having spores contaminate other grows.
I do not in any way mess with trich. As soon as I see it the substrate goes into the compost pile or the jars go into the pressure cooker to kill it. There is no grow I find too valuable to limp along that puts my grow space at a risk of future contamination.
If i were you I would start over and try to figure out where you went wrong. Do not give up because everyone has to go through this. It's a matter of figuring out what works best for how you are doing it. You might find that for what ever reason straw just doesn't work and move on to a different substrate.
Just don't get discouraged. An early failure means more success in the future!

Awesome, thanks for the feedback guys. I'm definitely not going to give up. I'm going to get another spawn on the go this weekend and have a rethink about my setup. I'll let you know how it goes!
