Yeah...perhaps. Time will tell...hopefully, if so, he'll put most of the proceeds into some sort of victim health fund. I do believe there are still people out there who strive towards the greater good.

as was stated in the very beginning, he worked for enbridge years ago, enbridge is a canadian company. the Dakota Access pipeline is being constructed by Dakota Access, LLC. a subsidiary of Energy Transfer LP
The Bakken Pipeline System consists of two projects—the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL), and the Energy Transfer Crude Oil Pipeline (ETCOP).
The acquisition extends the reach of Enbridge’s existing crude oil and liquids pipeline network, and fulfills key strategic priorities for Enbridge:

He had an axe to grind before he got fired. He wasn't going to go along with the corruption. He could have been paid off to keep quiet as he says others he knew of were. Instead he's risking his life by not keeping quiet.
I'm sure he knew he would be fired for letting the truth come out.

I made over $550 in 24 hrs moving man lifts & sky tracks to various production companies pads. I quit because my life was misiribale in Midland/Odessa.
My brother was an EOG consultant making $900/day to make sure ponds have enough water in pond/pit to complete current fracks.
It's a total different work out there in the fields.

that's simply his claim
he's not risking his life, you may buy into the bullshit about oil companies assassinating people that invent 'water powered cars' and '900mpg carburetors' and other that would somehow cut into their profits but that would just make you sound pretty damn nutty

Well, the US EPA wrote a "scathing letter" to Enbridge about their supposed clean-up and Enbridge was ordered to go back to the oil spill site that they had claimed was "clean" to actually clean it up as a result of Bolenbaugh's whistle-blowing.
And Enbridge admitted that the oil was still there.

did the EPA go out and test before and after to determine if there actually was oil?
wasnt bolwingballs responsible for the actual clean up on these sites, so doesnt this fall on his shoulders, I mean here he is in charge of these spill crews and he's failing to do the job, why is that, is he going to use the Nazi cop out of "I was just following orders", as I'm seeing it, we now have the fireman that's out starting fires in order to make himself a hero

There were multiple teams that went there before his. His was the last team to go to the site and as the head of his team, he was supposed to sign-off that the site was clean. He refulsed to sign-off on it.
He was ordered to literally cover it up rather than to clean it up. That's why he went public.
