Our president-elect has spent the day on Twitter melting about the recounts. Does he ever sleep?

Can't it be both? If my multiple posts about the popular vote a week ago qualify as melting, then trump's multiple posts about the popular vote today is hella melting. It's a special type of melt when you're complaining about the results of an election you won, tho.

The man takes 2 minutes out of 24 hours to write a few tweets and people lose their shit over it. It's just hilarious to me. The guy likes to Tweet like millions of other people. The world is still spinning. I don't get the big deal. An honest opinion from an elected official should be refreshing.

Lol. Come on pat. You've been making fun of me for two weeks about my popular vote updates. You are just a total hypocrite if you can't see how petty trump is behaving. Social media meltdowns are funny until they are coming from someone who can blow up the world in five minutes.
You know how unstable those tweets make him look, you just won't admit it.

It's completely unusual, I agree. But it's harmless. The guy disagrees with the recount and he rants about it. That's all there is to it. He's not launching nukes here. Part of his apppeal comes from his social media presence. Plus Trump is Trump. It's not as if he just came out of nowhere with this tweeeting thing. He's been doing that ever since the very start.
I don't know. It's juvenile, sure. But at the same time you know exactly who that man is. He doesn't try to pretend to be someone he's not. I see no harm in it. It's just another "oh Jesus" moment. It's new and he's paving the way cause social media is the future.
I get why you're upset by this but it's becoming too much of "Did you see what Trump did!?!?!? Did you???! Loook!!! Tweets!!! The man can't possibly tweet this can he?!?!?! LOOK!!!! HE TWEETED AGAIN!!!! Arrrrg!"

I'm even willing to bet that other world leaders are gonna start using Tweeter like he does. The world is changing. The era of scripted everything politician is probably comin g to an end soon. Nobody ever bought the image of any politician. WE're all human. Plus there's these dragged out annoying non-answers to yes or no questions... This shit is breath of fresh air for so many people... An actual man being himself and saying what he thinks instead of saying what people want to hear? It's unheard of. The beauty of it is that what he's saying is exactly what a shit ton of people have been thinking for decades.
Many have tried to be themselves but the never broke through because the scrpited politicians always find a way to silence the or make them irrelevant. Trump went through the biggest political shitstorm the world has ever seen. Abolutely everybody was trying to bury him using anything they could find. But he made it and broke down the gates. You'll be surprised at the amount of new politician that will follow in his foot steps.

Hillary did such a good job in this last election that the DNC is scrambling for new leadership and try to figure out how to appeal to the working class again. Yet, Koods still stands firmly in defense of his dear leaders. Anyone like Koods that incapable of criticizing their own party is incapable of being taken seriously.
"Meltdown"... Never mind the complete melt down of the Green Party attempting to do a recount 2 weeks after the election, after Hillary concedes.

Why the hell are they doing a recount anyway when there is no actual evidence of hacking or widespread fraud? If Hillary had so much as a remote chance of winning a recount, she would have done it herself and wouldn't have conceded in the first place.

Sanders is the face of the Democratic party. He's exactly like Trump but from the left. If the Democrats don't realize this shit by now they will lose such much support. Sanders would have killed Trump in the general election. 60/40 in every swing state.
I admire and respect sanders very much despite the fact that I don't totally agree with him on many issues. The man is himself.

I don't know that I agree that he's the face of the party. Sanders was the face of the party for a short time, until he sold out to Clinton and lost the primaries due to the super delegate process. He lost a percentage of his base, and also pissed off a lot the Hillary supporters which claimed his supports lost her the election. If he would have waited out 2 weeks until the Wikileaks hacked revealed that the DNC colluded to get him to loose, then he might have earned my respect. Instead, he's just another a lifetime politician that is incapable of criticizing his own party.

Can somebody put these in fucking order? I started reading left to right then it got all jumbled, so ithought maybe they were uploaded backwards but even that turned into a fucking mess.
What order are they? I'm not about to write all the fucking times down and sort them out either.
Edit: Ok so i think i read it all in order it's mostly backwards (which makes sense in how it pulls up on a phone's gallery) it's just somewhere around the 4th or 5th screencap his tweets seemed like the middle of a sentence got cut out and made no sense.
Then again i guess it is kind of stupid for me to expect trump to make ANY sense, much less on twitter

Trump can't be gay. Gay republicans gather in public restrooms and trump would never set foot in one of those.
Apparently the secret service will be paying trump to rent an entire floor of trump tower.

I heard that Trump won't be living in DC full time and that it's going to cost NYC a SHITLOAD of monies.
Trump can't be gay. Gay republicans gather in public restrooms and trump would never set foot in one of those.
Apparently the secret service will be paying trump to rent an entire floor of trump tower.
Controversial. But by far the best thing to do.
The secret service should rent an entire residential floor. That way they would be able to live on site (in extreme luxury) and have a floor to separate everything. They would have control of everybody that wants to go up past them in the elevators and stairwells.
But there's that Trump is using his Presidency to make money thing....

It's just weird that the government is paying him to protect him. The secret serviced also paid trump to fly on his plane. Normally these would be payments made to third parties when the candidate doesn't own the transportation and lodging.

Well, the duty of the secret service is to protect the President-elect. The most efficient way happens to be paying the President-elect company for some real estate. Trump could let them have the floor at his cost, but a condo in Trump tower goes for minimum 2 million and the higher up you go in the tower, the more expensive it becomes. Trump has the top floor. The optimal floor for the Secret Service a floor or two below him. Penthouses that sell for 15 million each. I believe there are 4 or 6 of them per floor... And you can't just evict a floor. People own their condos.
When Trump leaves to the White House, security will loosen. Nobody gives a shit about Melania.

They will be renting that floor for at least 14 years or until he dies. Once he's president they will be there for times that he is staying there, plus the ten years presidents receive protection after they leave office.

Yeah... Well maybe they should just buy out everybody, strip it down and build a secret service office and put it to use. It is downtown New York after all...
This is a challenge the Secret Service has never encountered before. Inner city skyscraper guarding has never happened before. It could be used as a urban training program for secret service personel and recruits.

My moms friend lives in Trump tower. A lot of the units are actually more like timeshares or extended stay hotel rooms.

I don't know how Trump tower works. I know their are high end commercial floors, High end condos and Trump's house. I wouldn't be surprised if there was hotel rooms in there or time shares. The man has all sorts of business going on in there.

Trump's presidency will be defined by his meltdowns and focus on chasing after his enemies and anyone who slights him. Forget about the wall, forget about draining the swamp, forget about making america great again, donald trump is gonna sue the women who he sexually assaulted and everybody else that's inconvenient for him.

Shit like that is what mostly worries me, I just had that argument with my parents about people burning the flag this morning, as much as I disagree people doing it and think they're assholes I feel it's there right to express themselves freely even if it's in a way I consider fucked up. They disagreed and think some people shouldn't be able to freely express themselves or speak in certain ways which I think is bullshit, freedom of speech isn't there to protect the speech you like, it's there to protect speech and expression that you don't like
I strongly disagree with someone burning the flag but respect there right to do so, yet most people actually seem to agree it should be a criminal offense to express yourself in ways the majority disagrees with

The Flag Protection Act of 2005 was a proposed United States federal law introduced by Senators Bob Bennett (R-UT) and Hillary Clinton (D-NY). The law would have prohibited burning or otherwise destroying and damaging the US flag with the primary purpose of intimidation or inciting immediate violence. It called for a punishment of one year in jail and a fine of $100,000.
Can someone please cite me the liberal outrage when this happened?

Probably won't end up doing either. I personally don't think it matters if you do it at home, but people do it out in public for the sole purpose of trying to stir shit up. I guarantee that a lot of the same people who say it would be unconstitutional of him are the same people who cry about hate speech though and completely ignore when Obama does something similar. . The only people burning the flag are illegals, wannabe communists and the "safe space" kids. Plus...they often do it right in the middle of the street. That should be punishable at least.

Lol, that is laughable.
Last time I checked it was legal and protected under freedom of expression. Not saying we should burn flags but there have been numerous radical American born groups that burned flags, so were just going to send them to Syria?
I thought we were building a wall to keep unwanted Mexican citizens out, while advocating we deport or jail political prisoners.
Burning the flag is a political crime, making them political refuges.
Its actually closer to peaceful protest than marching in the streets. And you'd have to be a fool to believe only illegals burn flags.
But really, if an American got caught burning the flag where are we gonna deport then?

If I go to a store, buy a flag making it privately owned. Take it to my privately owned property and use my privately owned camera to record and upload a video to a privately owned website of me burning my privately owned flag, the government should come in and jail-deport me? For privately expressing myself.

I think building a giant wall, deporting people who don't look like you, and sentencing a person who burns flags to prison is analogous to having a safe space or therapy dog. What we now associate with the most current radical ideologies are basically whiny bitches.

Flag burning is settled case law. That's not the point. The point is what this kind of tweet reveals about his understanding of individual rights. He clearly thinks being unpatriotic and critical of his government should be punished by kicking the perpetrators out of the county - like he heard that phrase about America "if you don't like it, you can leave." He has said on more than one occasion that people don't have the right to criticize him. He publicly berates the press for simply reporting on the recount effort, and calling him out on his conspiracy theories. This man is dangerous. Add to the potential Muslim registry and complaining about protests and he has shown very little respect for every single right granted by the first amendment.
Tweeting random pronouncements that seem to have come out of nowhere at 4am is NOT NORMAL BEHAVIOR. His kind of insecurity and need for praise combined with extreme power is one of the most dangerous political situations imaginable.
I truly cannot believe this person was elected president. It's like the twilight zone.

The Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that it was ok for the westboro baptist church to go to soldiers funerals with signs saying the dead soldier is going to hell for being a fag. I seriously doubt they are going to overturn their decision that flag burning is protected speech. The point isn't that trump is going to do it, it is that he thinks he could and that he thinks it's right,

When people say "you don't have the right" it doesn't always mean they literally don't have the right. Have you heard of figures of speech? If someone says something stupid to me, then calls me an idiot, I could say "you don't have the right to criticize me" too. And I'm pretty sure he's pissed at the protests due to the fact that a lot of the "protesters" are causing a lot of trouble for others around them. If he really believes people shouldn't be allowed to peacefully protest, then I disagree with him, but we've seen a lot of protesters who are definitely not peaceful so far, and nobody is calling them out for it.
Also, I don't blame him for being pissed at this recount BS either, why not recount all the states? Why focus on the ones Trump won? I still can't believe people don't see the benefit of being cautious about Muslims yet either, I mean did you hear about what happened in Ohio yesterday?

That is..if there wasn't any voter fraud that they're accusing him of, and apparently not finding any. Let's do a recount for Hillary also. Fair?
They already found 5000 trump votes he didn't actually get in Wisconsin, which have been removed from the tally narrowing the gap significantly in the state.

That wasn't my point. Still, they shouldn't be here anyway. I don't get why some of them wave the Mexican flag while burning the American flag. Like I said..if that's how you feel..go the hell back home.

I'll have to look into this then. Not like I'm surprised it goes on on both sides, but it's much more favorable for democrats to use it. So..again, let's recount Hillary's too, isn't that fair?

They're recounting everything. Not just one candidate. The county where trumps vote total dropped had a discrepancy where they had more votes recorded than ballots cast.

Idk how I missed this, but good. I don't know how much good it will do for either of them, but I still find it odd that Stein really cares about a recount all of a sudden when she's said for a while that she'd prefer Trump over Clinton, one of the reasons being that she doesn't trust her. Weird.

Idk. She wants to be a player probaly. She's getting more attention that during the campaign. She probably thinks there's something fishy about these states. How is it that theee different precincts had only over counted trump votes, not anyone else's? That's very strange.
She's also a patriot for having the votes recounted. Any effort to keep Trump out of the White House is an honorable endeavor.

Trumps electoral margin ranks 45th out of 57 elections. That puts him in the bottom quintile. To put it another way, in a class called "historical electoral landslides" he would receive an F.
So.you can call it a landslide the same way a mom can tell her kid that just got held back a grade that he's the smartest kid in class.

Maybe you should slow down on your own twitter lurking without even having an account before mentioning someone else using it lol. Also, you can see that he was directly responded to, I'm sure he's not going through a list of twitter users just to see if he's being mentioned. He put a lot more effort and time into his campaign than Hillary did though, so I see no problem with him fuckin around a bit on twitter.

Oh well yeah Obama is awful using the gold standard 3% rule that every president has been held to since 2014.

Yeah 1.55% isn't close. I'm not sure where you get that number. Obama's average annual growth over his presidency is about 2.2%. That is better than both bushes. The US also fared better than worldwide growth and European growth. But I know how important that 3% thing is because you see it on every right wing news site.

Is burning your car a freedoms of speech exercise? How about your house? Is throwing Molotov cocktails protected speech?
it should not be punished.
as a matter of fact I can burn my house and my car if I choose to do so as long as my actions cause no harm and I'm not trying to perpetrate a fraud, I can also throw moltov cocktails on my property, again, as long as my actions harm no one else

"deporting people who don't look like you...is analogous to having a safe space"
Hmm, enforcing existing immigration laws isn't analogous with "safe spaces".
You're right - that wasn't a good point. A better point would be barring all muslims from entering the United States.
I think restricting people from certain parts of the world from entering the US is a very sensible policy and it has been used before, how exactly is having a sound national security policy similar to "safe spaces"?
http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/suspect-dead-after-ohio-state-university-car-knife-attack-n689076
How was this asshole from Somali even living in the US as a permanent resident?
Trump didn't say "certain parts of the world". He said Muslims.
A "sound national security policy" is analogous to "safe spaces" in that you want things to be your way/no one to be hurt. Saying "I don't want Muslims here because they'll attack us and make America unsafe" is analogous to saying "I don't want you to say those mean things without a trigger warning because they make me feel unsafe". I'm drunk and can probably think of a better example later, but if you're not intentionally being obtuse, I hope you'll at the very least grasp where I'm coming from.
Also, how about this asshhole? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omar_Mateen
I personally worked with a Somali guy at a grocery store. There are probably tens of thousands of them in the united states. One Somali asshole is one Somali asshole but that doesn't mean the rest are.
At the time, it was an enlightening experience to hear my ex-husband Somali co-worker brag about owning a grand theft auto game as if that's a major achievement. Or to talk about his two hour commute to work but not complain and to be 100% positive..
I know, this is anecdotal experience and doesn't mean shit in a debate. But hopefully you can imagine yourself viewing the world through the limited lense I've shared with you and can grasp where I'm coming from.

I believe he changed his stance on that and ended up specifying "Muslims coming from countries with a history of terrorism."

Projection is so funny and the most interesting thing for me to watch. Even when it's pointed out that someone is projecting their feeling and thoughts onto others, they most likely go into denial, or ignore you completely.
