Nice Clean Tubs?

I wanna clean off a bunch of old gear that is plastic and metal. Its all stuff that can fit in a bathtub. The Clorox Bleach Regular label says: 8.25% Sodium Hypochlorite 91.75 Other
How much to dilute?
I want to "super rinse" a bunch of tubs. Hoping bleach would be a satisfactory cleaner to prevent any nasties from past grows and storage exposure (mice, dust, bacteria, tric). I hope it'll be easier to rinse then soapy water.
Looking for a protocal for cleaning off this old stuff because there's a better storage place for it now.
Also interested to hear how folks prepare their tubs before loading them with subs etc. Anyone using a massive SAB?
PS The last thing I want is clean tubs covered in cleaning chems.

10% for bleach to use as a cleaning product.
I've never ever cleaned a tub out much more than using the sprayer from the sink. and maybe a sponge

Are you planning on using these tubs to fruit bulk in, like monotub/dubtub/tray style? If so, it's probably fine to clean them as best you can and call it good. Use liners (trash bag, etc) when you spawn to the tubs for good measure.
I recently pulled a bunch of my old tubs from storage where they were exposed to lots of nasty stuff. I did a quick clean by plugging the drain in my bathtub, turning on the shower, and tossing all the tubs in there. I poured some bleach into the water and then directed the shower blast all over all the tubs, turning them all so that each side of every tub spent some time sitting in the bleach water in the bottom of the bathtub. Rinsed them and let them dry, and I haven't had any issues with them. I use liners anyway, but I think that there wouldn't be any issues without liners, either.

if the little dust or shit you can't clean off with just plain water in your tubs is going to contaminate your grow, so is the air.
a healthy grow doesn't need a sanitized tub. just a relatively clean one. bleach is nasty stuff I don't use bleach unless I got raw chicken on something

I simply rinse all my tubs with tap water real well and I've yet to lose a tub to contaminations (until 4th flush or more). Seems overkill to use any chemicals in my experience. The substrate will colonize before any contams get a chance to take hold on any substantial amount of substrate. So in effect, the best to way deal with contams is healthy mushroom growing parameters. It's a race.
Your tubs are always exposed to contams, unless you're growing them in a FAPPL(filtered air positive pressure laboratory).

Some use water, some use bleach, some sodium hypochlorite, some use lysol, and some use maids.

Soap and water in a bathtub, then before you fruit soak a paper towel with some isopropyl alcohol and give her another quick wipe down and let the bad bitch dry.

Sounds about right. Bleach is nasty and it doesn't go very far. No way Im using 6 gallons of if it for a dunk.
Thanks for chiming in erybudy. It certainly is a race.

Sounds like a waste of iso. That shit's expensive. As stated by others in this thread. You don't need to sanitize your tubs. The air we fruit in is full of contaminants.
