These jars ok?
    #23871708 - 11/27/16 11:13 AM (7 years, 2 months ago)

I have a few jars here that I wanted to try a mini-monotub with. I made them by g2g transfer 3 months ago. There is some growth inside the jar that I don't recognize and I was hoping to learn weather this was normal long term myc growth inside of a jar or if it is some kind of contamination. Specifically the spindly growth on the glass of the jar between the grain and the lid. Does this shit look ok to use?

Thanks guys!

Those look like sclerotia veins, what variety are you working with?

Not the best pictures. They look OK to me but some spots looks like bacteria maybe it's just the bad picture quality...
Can you upload pictures you made in a environment with more light?

They are GT. Here is another pic with flash turned on. The yellow bits at the bottom of the jar are just rye berries peeking through, they turn up very yellow in the pic.

Nice dude, Im runnin some GT's too! I would say since its all so nice and white and clean lookin, your good to go. The veins are probably just from the myc being so old and having time to establish a solid mycellial network. I'd smell before and after shake, then wait 24-36 hours and if you have proper recovery spawn them bitches!!!

Cool thanks guys! This will be my first mini mono so if it failed I wanted to make sure it was my technique and not the spawn.

C/V/G. 60% coir and 40% verm. I haven't started experimenting too much with subs yet.

Coir/Verm for the win. In my opinion, it's more nutritious than manure and so friendly to the cultivator it's almost stupid...

Coir/Verm is my ride or die bitch!
