Lsd taste

Erowid:
"NBOMe" compounds are usually bitter while LSD-containing liquid or blotter has only a mild metallic flavor or no flavor at all.
On average, does lsd have no taste more ofton than mild metallic flavor or vise versa?
Would no taste be more pure?
What causes mild metallic taste in LSD?

Heavy metals and isomers of the drug I would assume. Pure 99.98% LSD should be relatively tastless. But 80% pure stuff should be about 80% tasteless.
-------------------- its that bitter-sweet-sour, electric-smooth-twang. everything you ever have, are. or will feel along with every emotion, joy, hate, love, fear or aspiration burning down your nerves and into the fabric of your place in this existence at ten thousand degrees above and below zero will you find yourself wondering if you've been dead or alive this whole time. being born over and over only to die over and over hoping the wheel stops in the same place it started when you spun it, and when it finally does and you can step back and take a nice deep breath you realize how beautiful life is, remember, wake up to the most beautiful day of your life every single day, its just the way.

idk why erowid said that acid has a Quote:
mild metallic taste
it shouldn't.
Nbome's specifically and some other RC's are said to have battery acid metallic bitter tastes which are very pronounced.
LSD is supposed to be completely tasteless, i'd be sketched out if it tasted even "mildly" metallic, whatever that means
LSD as a chemical is tasteless only reason the blotter would taste like anything would be that the paper it was layed onto tasted a certain way but thats rare and makes no sense why people would do that
LSD apparently also shines bright under a blacklight, although i've never tried that

Actually if it has a slight metallic taste, almost like electricity, than its the base. Lsd crystals can be based with h2o, and it usually is so it has zero taste and you the consumer wont think its an R.C, but it wont last that long, while lsd based with some sort of grain alcohol like everclear will not only taste slightly metallic but also will last a long ass time. Swim had 2 sheets wrapped up and chillin' in his fridge, and didnt notice any degradation for up to around 8-9 months. If its very bitter and has a strong chemical flavor its proably Dox or 2-Ci or one of the other millons of deadly hallucinogenic R.C's.

LSD has no taste, and not many people have got to put the crystal in their mouth.
LSD could taste like anything depending what it was diluted with... If water or alcohol it should be zero taste.
Some people report a taste of LSD.. but WAY later in the trip experience, most people can attest to a taste appearing in their mouths mid experience that could be related to metalic or electric, but this is not an INITIAL taste of the substance. It has none.

The metallic taste to me is more a aftertaste. I never notice much taste at all while taking the tabs, but i do occasionally get the slight metallic taste a little after the tabs are ingested. If the tabs are straight up bitter, I would assume it's a research chemical.
