Yeah man I hear ya on the stones! And I'm reading stonesuns guide now. I will have a bunch of jars going forward so I'll be able to test the theory of stones in jars more potent then stones from a fruiting substrate.
I have also heard that the fruits of this species create a very unique experience, even different from the stones of the same culture.

Sclerotia is 30% fungus 70% water so 10 grams wet is 3 grams dry. When fresh theyre twice as potent as cubensis bc cubes are about 10% fungus 90% water. But dry sclerotia is 2/3rds as potent. When fresh youre eating 3 times as much fungus per bite. Hence why there more potent fresh. When dry you have to eat 30% more fungus than cubensis. So dry you should eat about 5 grams and wet around 11 or 12 grams for a standard dose.

I haven't had tamps but my last Atl jars got around 100 grams or more per quart after 4 months. 10 grams wet lit most people up fairly well. The hard core people took 15 and were tripping pretty hard.

Okay back to the project.....a few of my jars have already germinated. Thats crazy that it germinated from MS in 72 hours at 68F. I must be doing something right

Ill be innoculating 6 more jars this week. Im debating wether to get jalisco and do 12 jars of those for their sclerotia. Compare the yield, speed of sclerotia production, colonizing times etc...between the 2.

So i never went into the specifics of my measurements and all that so i wanted to share them for anyone who wants to give this a try over cubes I measured 1 cup (liquid measuring cup) of dry rye berries for each quart jar i needed. I used ORGANIC rye berries so theres no fungicides or any of that crap. I fill the stockpot up with the grain in it, stir it up, then pour out the dirty water. Repeat this process till the water is clear. After that step i fill the water up about 3 to 4 times higher than the grain. So if theres 2 inches of grain i do 8 inches of water. I brew a pot of organic coffee so you know theres nothing added to it. For sclerotia i use half the coffee they recommend for a cup. So instead of a tablespoon per cup i use a tablespoon per 2 cups. I brew 6 cups of coffee then pour it into the stockpot and stir it up. Then i add 1 table spoon of gypsum. Stir it up then let it sit for 24 hours. Then its ready to be pc'd I basically follow the same measurements and steps as RRs video but the coffee and gypsum i tweak to what i think works best. Good luck

Things seem to be going great. Theyre colonizing pretty nicely and the grains are looking good too. Still got a long way to go so stay tuned.
