Every Trips a Bad One

Mushroom Trips were great, until one day a close run in with the law sent them all downhill. I was not able to calm down, and mellow out even with a little toke which I do on the daily(keep in mind this was a year or two ago now). Now when I trip I get a repressed feeling that I can't calm down, similar but not the same. This feeling is mixed with a little bit of anxiety and leads to physical pain in the chest that's located near the heart. I thought I'd try LSD, that would be a different experience, but from my unknowing knowledge it was probably close to 200+ug, and brought similar repressed feelings but for a longer amount of time, I thought I was going to die of a heart attack with my heart racing so fast and the pain combatted around it.
Now it feels like any amount of psychadellic substance will bring on this heavy feeling in my chest and the same repressed feeling. Could I have tripped myself into a bad one for all the rest, do you think it's some pyshocological in my head that's repeating these trips? Or could my body be retaliating to the vasoconstricting properties of them? I really just want to have a good positive trip.

I've had a similar deal, you get a few bad trips in and soon the expectation of a bad trip is all it takes to make them all bad. Is there anything about this run in with the law that might be helpful for us to know? Was it an arrest or..?
Can I ask what you typically do when you trip? A big part of getting over it for me was learning how to properly react to a trip going south.
You say any amount of psychedelic does this to you? I was going to recommend micro dosing until I read that, small doses are much more manageable. Have you taken a true micro dose or simply small doses?
I doubt that it is a true physical reaction to the substances, but its possible. I've thought I was having a serious health based reaction to mushrooms before but it was all in my head and I just needed to calm down.

I think this is something that you're going to have to try to move past in your own mind. Somehow, mentally, you have to figure out how to deal with these feelings.
There are lots of methods I use for dealing with negative or unwanted feelings or thoughts on psychedelics. Here are a few:
1. Try telling yourself and truly believing that you're not actually experiencing the feelings, and that you're actually experiencing some other feeling. Turn anxiety into anticipation and excitement. Nausea into hunger, etc.
2. Try distracting yourself by focusing as hard as you can on other emotions or sensations, particularly physical sensations. Focus on how your arms or legs feel, or how the desk feels. Whatever the most comfortable part of the world is, focus on that.
3. Try distracting yourself by doing something or putting on music. Music is known to help, it should be calming music of a type that you enjoy, although classical seems to almost always work well. Alternatively, you can try doing something such as peeling an orange, playing a game, or attempting to solve a rubix cube.
4. Watch a movie that you love, and try to really focus on it and think about it. Try to ignore and push away your negative feelings and focus on the story and its implications.
5. Confront head on the fact that you are having these feelings, and really deeply allow yourself to feel them. Remember that you'll be okay, and nothing is wrong, and confront the feelings head on. Experience them as deep as they go and explore them, and remember that they can't actually hurt you, and that they're all in your mind. This might take some of the fear out of it.
6. Try to produce other feelings which you can then focus on by doing things or watching things that make you feel emotions strongly. An emotional movie, for example, or playing a game that you truly love.
7. Try clapping or banging a pot against a pan once. This has an unusual effect while under the effects of psychedelics, and it may break you out of any loop you've fallen into.

Probably pre-existing anxiety that's popping up mid-trip, along with the added stress of anticipating another rough ride due to memory of previously rough trips. Your experience sounds almost identical to mine; and in all honesty I don't have much advice other than maybe it's time to take a break from tripping and start reflecting on past trips and applying anything you may have retained from them.
After you feel you've applied all you can, revisit the idea of tripping; you may find that you've gotten all that you need (for the time-being) out of it and it's time to start using what you've learned.
IMO: Like school, tripping is just a tool to springboard off of into life. If all you did was stay in class until you died, then those classes wouldn't really do you much good without using them in real-life applications. Similar to knowing every single thing to know about cars but not driving even once and never fixing anything automobile-related.

I really like #1 and #7 sounds worth a try. Perhaps playing an instrument would be even better.
I would add simply changing your environment, always helps me anyway, go on a walk, or go home, don't get stuck in one place.

Yeah, definitely movement. Changing environment can have enormous impacts. I especially find that moving through different environments eg going on a walk is particularly nice.

I've had amazing and horrific trips. It's a gamble especially when using MS. When it's all over with the bad trips were somewhat amazing too just not at the time. I ate 52g wet last night and it was up and down all night but all in all I had a good time.

The run in I had would've let me to being arrested, however they didn't know I was ever even apart of the situation because I had acted quickly and hopped out of the vehicle with evidence and got away. The action is still being committed but I don't believe it to be a factor in the feeling.
I have considered microdosing, and will probably try it a little better with proper doses. But very small amounts, for example .7 will send me into the same trip and feeling. Which is another not I should add, both LSD and psilocybin give me the same trips but different durations.
When I tripped before it's been out of ordinary and I'd just go for a walk and end up at the local skate park , now lately since the incident it's been colder and I've been staying inside and tripping alone or with friends, (but I did have good experiences on pyschs at home )

#1 and #7 are interesting ideas and I will put them to the test. The rest though, if I'm function able enough to do, just slightly ease my mind of the feeling but it's definitely still their and dramatically bringing down & dulling my trip.

This is good advice, I like how you used school with it as a metaphor, makes a lot of sense
I apologize to everyone in advance if my replying and posting is off, I'm new to the forums community
