So I've been going a bit nuts trying to find a good PE clone. I started out by putting spores from a PE print on one set of plates and spores from a "PE" swab on another.
The swab plates colonised way faster so naturally I used them and set the print plates aside.
The first tub I grew out preformed teribly and had a lot of non PE looking fruits.
But there were a few decent dicks with enough PEnes that I took a couple clones.
The clone tubs weren't much better.
 
They gave me a few monsters with some obvious PE characteristics but not all the way PE.
While the first couple tubs were growing I noticed an invitro pin in one of the swab plates so I cloned it and started another tub.
It preformed well but the fruits had no sign of PE characteristics.
 
Shortly after the firs flush on that tub the second flush cam in on a couple of my first tubs.
Only one fruit had any sign of being PE
I started to think my PE genetics were destabilizing. I've always had the odd regular fruit in my PE grows. I was ready to give up on PE. I even ordered APE and PEU spores to move on with.
Then I started looking at some of my old pix. I noticed some of my ESS grows looked a lot like my recent PE shit show.
This is ESS. For those of you who don't know. It's a cross I made using PE and KSSS that I still haven't gotten around to stabilizing.

It got me thinking. Could I have mixed up my swabs. I checked out the swab I used. My labels are always sloppy as hell but
It looks like PE.
I checked against some of my other swabs and realized it actually says PK
PK is how I labeled all my PE/KSSS befor I started calling it EnvySS.
I just wasted the last few months trying to get a decent PE clone using spores from F2 of a cross attempt. The moral of the story is. Label things clearly. It's easy to forget what's what after a few months.

I'm just glad I figured it out. I made a couple transfers from one of the PE print plates that I'm 100% sure are PE. So now I can start the search for a good OE clone again.

Haha that's awesome.
There's no log for the PE KSSS cross. I kind of posted bits and pieces of it here and there. At some point I'll get back to work on stabilizing it and make a thread about it.
