Newer growers just get really nervous and want to make sure everything is 100% perfect, and don't trust their own judgment very much.
This to will pass.

It's all good guys I've got thicker skin these days...I'm sure in the future there might be times where I may be asked what would seem to me to be such a simple question with a common sense answer and I may get a little sarcastic myself...but I shall try my best not to lol.

And you're right I just want to make sure I'm not making mistakes trying out a new method failure sucks and I know it's inevitable in some instances in order to grow and learn but avoidable in other instances where you have the wealth of knowledge available to you on this forum.....

Ps excited just ordered my first PE syringe from unnamed source today got a black Friday special on it. Can't wait to start my first grow of that variety. Also grabbed a syringe of GT to go with it.

Still have a ton of B+ ms solution left, I wished I would have taken pics of the successful monotub grow I had because it was gigantic over 8oz dry on one flush!! Unfortunately for some reason it was a dud flush and nobody really got high off them so I tossed it before the 2nd flush. But man did it look good.

I think you will like PE, it's not a myth that they are far more potent than regular P.cubensis.
They are still just as easy to grow, and fun to watch.

Some things you may or may not already know about PE that I experienced personally:
1) They colonized slower, no dramatically but noticeably.
2) Sometimes the first flush of PE is mostly blob mutations, which are still fine to eat.
On substrates like 100% straw PE seems to produce less blobs, leading me to believe the blobs are a response to highly nutritious substrates.
3) Spore production is very poor, something about the mutated genetics of PE cause it to either produce no spores or very little, and even sometimes the gills(lamellae) produce many spore-producing basidium but the basidium fail to launch the spores.
Which is why you don't see many PE spore prints, but PE 'swabs' which are made by swabbing the gills with a sterile cotton swab.
Then you use the spore covered cotton to make syringes with.

Aha good to know. They also don't seem to give you huge yields from what I've seen but the fruits you do get tend to be special.

I'm looking forward to it.

Take the vendors name out of your post. We don't talk about vendors in cultivation. Those spors are for microscopy.

You'll like PE. It generally does pretty well even from MS. I've found it to be one of the better yielding varieties.

My bad edited post removed name.

Glad to hear PE's can be good yielders likely as you isolate from grow to grow.

What's opinion on GTs?

PE tend to yield pretty well from MS.

I like GT. They are the first mushrooms I grew. They're a run of the mill cube.

They look really nice, how do you get thick stems like those?  I mean I don't get skinny long fruits but those look thicker than what I'm used to see.

Seems as though many of the TC's long time shroomery members just love the Cock....

Seems like it's the go to variety to grow.

Have never myself dose myself with PE is the high different/ special in any way compared to other cubes?

Didn't eat them many times but they were sure different for me. Could've been the potency though
