Pre-Sterilised grain bag help

Hello I've recently purchased a pre-sterilised grain bag to give me a hands on experience with growing mushrooms and I've stumbled upon a couple of "problems".
The first problem I am having is im unsure about whether or not my spawn bag is contaminated. As you can see in the picture I've attached below the grain itself looks a bit blackish/slightly green however the mycelium itself looks normal. Im not sure if this is me being paranoid or if this is an actual problem. The grain thats being used is rye so im unsure if this is an actual issue or not as I onl saw it when I was thoroughly inspectig it.

The second problem im having is after colonisation the manufacturer says that the bag must be set up for fruiting in a particular way. I wont say it as it is too long however feel free to check out the link of their instructions : http://www.mushroomkit.co.uk/mycofarm (I dont mean to advertise)
Here are some pics of the grain bag and the contents of the kit :

Contents of the kit: Casing mix, Perlite and Humidifier tent.
According to many tek's I've read wouldn't it be better to cut the plastic sides of the bag so it can fruit from all sides or will just the top bit suffice?
Thanks for taking the time to read my long post. As always any help from any experienced growers is much appreciated and thanks to everyone that replied to my previous post. Hope you all have a good day

That bag is contaminated with you'll have to start over to get to the fruiting stage
Grain bags should be inoculated with agar. Not spores. Those grain bags have a horrible success rate sold as kits to noobs

Not to be rude, but I agree with bodhisatta, add bacteria to starch and its game over. Spore syringes are full of bacteria, bacteria love starch, thats the problem.
You need another spore germination method, a clean one.

Of course, dont worry about it, you're not being rude or anything, glad you both mentioned it. Lets say I want to use spawn bags should I just use agar or should I just try my hardest to find jars instead? Cheers

You have tons of live mycelium, it's extremely possible to clean a sample. Not going to blow my trumpet, so look around at agar teks.
I wish you good luck, Ferather.

The other problem is having it done for your rather than doing it yourself.
Grain bags should be inoculated the day after sterilization. Shipping defeats the point of sterilization time windows.
We dont completely sterilize grains. It would take a day in the pressure cooker. We sterilize to a reasonable level. I understand this doesn't make sense if you learned what sterile was from a textbook in school but sterile is more complicated than it seems

Could not agree more, grains are not very beginner friendly at all in that setup.

Just want to say thanks for both of your replies! I have some SabDex agar around from when I was doing some research with yeast and antifungals. Ill probably look at some teks like you said and try to salvage what I have and maybe just start using a more tried and trusted method.
Thanks for the straight forward no BS replies
