Precious Metals (Silver)

Anyone got any insight on where these are gonna go over the next few years. I'm interested mostly in silver since it's at an all time low right now because I've read it has a massive short position. Those are known to burst and cause a massive spike in price. I also understand that it's offered as a voucher so many people who claim to own silver in there say retirement accounts only own the silver virtually. I've been looking into grabbing a few bricks of this to keep around. I mean fucking silver jewelry is still priced highly and having 2.2lbs of it in pure form does feel nice..
Interested in any ideas on future outlooks or even possible declines in price.
I fell into the trap before buying silver at 20$ when I was young and naive investor and wound up selling short at like 18$ an oz.....

All metals are, in my opinion, for long term asset allocation / diversification and not really suitable for short-term investment. With the US central bank all but certain to implement another rate hike in December, and not much inflation in the official metrics, there doesn't seem to be a near term upside catalyst for silver. Of course, global easy money policies in aggregate do place a fundamental incentive to own some metals as part of your diversified asset base in order to protect against as yet unrealized but potentially serious inflationary pressures in the long run. So yeah, buy some silver, put it away and forget about it. If the shit hits the fan, you'll be happy to have it, if not, it'll still remain a store of value.

Silver appears to be on a long term buy signal after breaking out of a 5 year correction.

I have been loading up on high quality silver resource stocks for the past 6 months. Most are still down -90% from their 2011 highs.

Oh yes, very well aware of Silvercorp, it's actually one of the very few silver equities I don't currently own. That might change down the road.

AEM might be worth watching if there is any downward pressure on the DXY in the near future

I've never paid tax on silver or gold... are there really states that tax a physical purchase? Like Apmex or JM, you just pay the price. And shipping is usually free over $100.
Just curious...
I live in PA.
