What would you nominate for 10 best posts/articles of 2016? 1

I was watching a video on 'advancing mycology in the 21st century' or something similar, and the host mentioned that some mycology and bird clubs publish their own small, amateur magazines:
I thought it might be interesting to compile a list of the ten best articles or posts from 2016. Not only as an aid to newbs, but also as a way to highlight the accomplishments of the past year. It could be new strains, new teks, hunting and/or ID stories, or whatever. Hopefully we could include some nice photos too. I've seen other forums and boards do this. We could do it simple style and just put it into a PDF, and if someone wanted to they could have it printed and folded/bound at Kinkos. Or we could do something a little nicer and do a small professional print run if there's enough interest.
So- what are your nominations?
-------------------- I'm interested in Dr. Pollock's work and his (especially older) strains. Anyone have pix of his Shroommobile RV?? PSA: Protonmail offers free, encrypted email hosted in privacy loving Switzerland. Red Phone / Signal offer free encrypted phone calls and texting between users. All of these programs are available free for PC and Android or apple and are available in the respective stores or online by googling the names. Stay safe out there! Maybe Top 10 was too ambitious to start with...
How about a Top 5?
You can also nominate your favorite cultivation photos too. Self nominations are also allowed.

If hunting related content could be included, that guy that found an epic ps. cyanescens patch of dreams this year off the side of the freeway would get my nomination. Definitely the largest fruiting I've seen posted here in recent years anyway.
I'll update this post with a link to it.
Definitely a neat idea, that'd be cool if this gained some traction.

That would be a great idea make a yearly book of some sort compiled with all the helpful teks and other cultivation info that has came out in the past year. This site sure does have the most up to date teks and info that I know of atleast we could really make something cool if we put some effort toward it.

If the book came out in 2016, it's be a perfect fit. He was in my area for a seminar back in October and I didn't know he was even here...
Do you have a review we can use?? Or is he a member here??

That's basically hat I was thinking. We have some great cultivators here, but with 11ty billion posts, sometimes the gems get overlooked or buried.
Plus- imagine how cool it would be to look back on it in 10 or 20 years.

Jesus Christ thats awesome. Thanks for pointing this thread out to me, I somehow missed it.
I like the idea of a PDF or newsletter with monthly/annual highlights. I don't frequent the site as much as I used to and obviously miss some great threads.

That's a good thread. Well written, covers lots of questions and alternatives, and the tek doesn't require any extra or special equipment. IN.
(for the write up-what would you say are the tek's biggest advantages or benefits?)
