PC about 60g of rice, inoculate with spores, transfer to T-Agar or T-Gel balanced to Ph 6.
Then isolate a clean section about 28mm away from the spawn sample.

Pass to tea infused grains or normal grains as spawn.

what's wrong with low ph for cube myc? only problem with low pH is that lower fungi loves it, but those cant handle higher pH, thats why we lime casing layers.

Sounds just like the way gentamicin sulfate kills fungal spores, including cubensis spores. Strictly speaking they CAN germinate on antibacterial agar, but it's much less likely than standard agar.

The lower Ph T-Gel test I did, increased bacterial activity for 2 days. Ph 6 did the opposite, no activity.

Agreed. You can germinate mold on almost any "open air safe" grow, its just very low in chance.

Mold germinates very well on the remaining tea waste leaves, solubles removed.

Here we have accidental germination of Golden oyster spores after 2.8 days.
Paper, enriched with tea leaves and fertilizer, 88% water content.

   

Very strong, very radial, uniform growth.

kinda sorta related: I am doing side by side P. mexicana Jalisco truffles, one ysed a 50:50 coffee:water ratio and one 50:50 tea:water. The coffee is laying waste to the tea, though the tea is still colonizing.

Lots of starch in coffee, its kinda like roasted rye berry's. No starch in tea, not so comparable.
Still I am interested on how well that coffee does given it has been highly roasted.

Which is good for being clean to start with, bad for nutrition.

Bad for nutrition? Coffee is a nitrogen powerhouse and molds fast as all fuck left liquid or grounds

Tastes like shit. Still plenty of nutrition. It doesn't evaporate off. Cubensis may not prefer if blackened but most other things couldn't give a shit. Macronutrient may be broken down sure but that doesn't matter much to most microorganisms. PH may change too but also not a big game changing thing with fungi

Mmmmm...i am dubious as to high starch in coffee. Comparatively sure. But it still has VERY few calories, of which a fairly high percentage is protein .

EDIT: 2 calories for an 8 oz cup. So starch and sugars.

@PlantManBee, There is 28.5g of starch and 14.6g of protein per 100g dry roasted coffee.

No offence but you are comparing brewed tea to brewed coffee, so you still have starch in the coffee as a difference.
The other thing is are you using the leaves alongside, because coffee is fully soluble in comparison.
