Sorry I am not trying to be rude, I just don't think it is a fair comparison, take no offence.

2 calories of starch vs. 2 calories of starch (likely starch, the caloric values are not separated in any value tables i've come across) is NOT a difference at all. Evidence suggests there is not an appreciable difference in starch content. That is just what i see. If you can tell me why i am misinterpreting the information i would love that.
Other nutrients like minerals are going to have much larger differences between the two than the starch content. Caffeine and tannins are likely WAY different between the two, but starch is practically nonexistent in the brewed beverages unless you add some.
BTW, I DO have lot's of biology credits under my belt. Again, clarity and is my goal regarding the organisms we're playing with. Good work so far! I mean that!

You will still need to use all of the tea to be comparable. Try Tea Granules, tempted to try it myself.

for what it's worth every beer I've made with tea had counts come up when it was plated for QA. that's tea not added during the boil. it's tea steeped at 185-212F (depending on the tea) and then injected into the bright beer tanks. obviously it's way more diluted. but despite the antibacterial action of hops the tea still made beers get counts of bacteria.
I suppose I wouldn't call this antibacterial grains, it would be inhibited bacteria grains. with some component of the tea'ing being somewhat antibacterial

I'm not 100% positive what that means exactly. But for some reason I can't help but agree...
There seems to be a lot of empty claims

English might not be his first language.. Some colloquialisms sound weird as fuck and don't make sense. He seemed to get what I was talking about though.

Haha no I just have vocabulary issues sometimes. I find it hard to words, but I try. I also grow a big rubbery one anytime I see words like colloquialisms being used in appropriate situations. I'm very thankful to live in a time where I can look up big fancy words in the dictionary at any given time

Ah, yeah I didn't think you sounded particularly foreign or anything but I do work with a lot of international people and there's a lot of shit I can't expect them to understand when I say.

Fancy words CAN be helpful... or not. Sorry, I still use words professors like because it can help there. I think there are some conclusions being jumped to here, but if it's working for some reason, I'd like to figure out why.

I like to use idioms and salty vernacular as much as the next guy but sometimes the proper nomenclature is the only way to adequately explain what needs to be expressed.

on a more relevant note, perhaps those who want to be extra careful could use soapy tea to spray their SAB's down?
