Cyber Monday Computer Sales

Hey guys, looking to upgrade my APU which is an AMD A10-6700 with Radeon
I'm really new to computer building. I bought this Essentio about 3 years ago and have been working on slowly upgrading it. I've learned alot so far but I know I'm still green. So advice is very much appreciated.
Do any of you know who is having good sales on computer components?
And can you advise on what a decent upgrade for me would be? I know if I go too high I could need a new cooling system and/or power supply and I'm not trying to do that. Though I got a better heatsink so I don't think a general upgrade will be a problem.
Please feel free to discuss good Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales in general! I know Amazon is going to have daily sales all week.

pcgamer has a good article on black friday deals for computer equipment that they update frequently. Check that out for sure. It has links to direct specific hardware but also lists some places that just are having good sales online.

Just curious, but what games do you play/want to play?
Might be worth investing in an AMD graphics card. There are some games that'll use crossfire, so the graphics output of the APU and the GPU will combine, when web surfing (if it's the right one, I don't know if all do this) the GPU will shut down, and just let the video feed pass through from the APU, meaning it not be using power, making heat, and could be a lot quieter if the fans spin down.
My advice to you would be 1: Upgrade the ram to 16gb (I remember when 16mb of ram seemed a lot, back in the 486 days) 2: Get an SSD for your computer if you haven't already, make sure the operating system boots from it. If it's big enough, you could do an image clone, if not, reinstall windows/linux, which in turn will make things run more smoothly, fresh OS installs always do. 3: Get a dedicated graphics card.
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/sL98TW/asus-radeon-rx-460-2gb-dual-oc-video-card-dual-rx460-o2g That's the UK pc part picker, it's very good at filtering what's compatible with your system (if you know what your motherboard is, if not, use CPU-Z or PC Wizard to find out http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/pc-wizard.html http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html ) I reccomend this one because it's a good mid range card, and I'm thinking there's no point wasting money on a really expensive graphics card because 1: Your APU will be a bottleneck on it, holding it back 2: Your power supply might not give enough current.
Anyway, building computers is fun and easy and I reccomend it to anyone to try. Just make sure to ground yourself before touching any expensive electronics, don't want to destroy them with static. I know you can buy earthing strips (I made one, just a wire that goes into the earth pin on a mains plug) but most of the time I just touch the side of the case/PSU when it's plugged in and switched off.

Hey thanks man. I didn't even think about needing more RAM. Looks like that might be holding me back as much as anything else, I only have 8GB.
I'm pretty green in alot of ways haha. The last desktop I owned had MEGABYTES of RAM and ran windows 98. Had a $100 laptop after that, made in 2009 or something, which had a single core processor and thoroughly died after 3-4 years. So the Essentio with the quad core processor was a huge upgrade for me even if I am realizing it has alot of shortfalls. But the biggest reason I went with that one is because the case is large enough to be able to fit upgrades
Also didn't think about adding a graphics card (was told I could not, or at least that's what I heard but I didn't have harware ears at the time.) on top of my current APU (which, upon more research it seems I already have the best APU my FM2 motherboard can hold )
The RAM and GPU can be recycled to most any AMD compatible motherboard though I imagine? So I'll go with upgrading those and hold off on the APU till I feel like rebuilding the motherboard and power stuffs.

Computers now need a minimum of 8 gigs of ram. try upgrading to 16 or 32.
