is this looks healthy? it tooks 14days after birthing. i found a pin 2days ago. but it grows very slow. I mist a few times a day, fan 5times a day. 12/12 light. temperature about 70, RH about 80 always. my FC is very small. it can hold just 2 cake. it might be not enough air exchane? There a 1/4 holes every 2 inch 6 side. Is the size of FC important? What does this cake tell you?

Your cakes look dry and very strange. What is this around the cakes? Vermiculite? Looks like you rolled them in oatmeal.
It would be helpful if you post your cake recipe.

Sounds like you're doing everything right. Did you consolidate your cake for a week after full colonisation? If not, might be a bit slow, but will fruit regardless.

RH of 80% ? In my book the RH for a cake in a sgfc is supposed to always be at least at 95%, 99% is better. Correct me if im wrong

yes i waited a week after full colonized. but reason why shape of cake, might be not enough colonize inside of cake. I can't increase RH more than 80%even i spray a lot.

worry about fresh air. humidity is fine inside a sgfc. unless you live in the desert.

fanning is to help evaporate moisture of the surface to induce pinning.
dont confuse fanning with fresh air. they are not they same.

Fresh air is delivered to your fruits via a properly set-up SGFC - 4-6 inches of perlite - holes drilled every 2 inches on all six sides - and a chamber that is elevated at least 4-6 inches off the surface it sits on.
Fanning only gets rid of humid air in the chamber which will allows more water to evaporate in the chamber, raising humidity and increasing good conditions for fruiting. You do not fan to increase FAE. You fan to allow room for more water to evaporate - allowing more humidity and Fresh Air to occur.

99% means the air is so saturated with water it can barely hold anymore. This is only possible with no fresh air exchange. In my experience 55-85% is the range where you see minimal fuzzy feet, decent fruit body proportions, and no cracked caps. Most hygrometers can't read past 80%, and say it's 99% when it isn't even close.
Truthfully the best thing you can do is watch the cakes and make sure they're glistening with no pooling water. Doing that you can grow in 10% rH open air, provided you're willing to mist them every half hour or so xD. Leave your SGFC in a nice open room, and elevate it high for maximum FAE.

Yea, that doesn't look good to me. Is that your only cake? If not, how do the others look? It may be contaminated.
