Prints and syringes will mold and bacteria eventually die?

If you were to take a dirty print is there a time when mold and bacteria die off? And what about in a spore syringe, does mushroom spores outlive them?
If so how long would that take? I'm surprised I haven't messed that part up, when I've done it numerous times while inoculating.

Spores get less viable with time. I venture to say a couple years is the timeline for good germination. You'll want to look that up for yourself though
I doubt it will outlast contams

I don't think this is a very easy question to answer, too many variables. Storage method? Which specific contaminants? Contaminant organism count? Etcetera...
If this isn't just a hypothetical question and you do in fact have a dirty syringe or print, you're probably best off using agar to clean it up.

It was merely hypothetical. I don't know what bacteria compete or win against spores. I just figured they'd outlast everything, even green mold over time. And I was interested to hear what people more experienced and more knowledgeble than me had to say about it.

Sure given long enough, but so too will your spores die... Most contamination is probably more durable than cube spores too
