yeah something to that effect.i dont mean actually contain it but have effects similar to opiates ie relieve pain.
and if i am taking opiates on a regular basis what is the effects of shrooms on top of opiates(taken together)

im sure they are out there! probably half poisoness though, and/or undiscovered in some costa rican jungle.

i have heard fly argaric can have a pain releiving properties, but it could have just been that user . . .

In my new book, "Mushroom Biology", Miles and Chang cite Pai saying that Marasmius androsaceus has analgesic and sedative properties. The active component is marasmic acid.
