1.- I can?t find malt extract and would like to know if malt syrup will do the job. If so, should I use the same amount, like 20 gr./per litre?
2.- Is there any difference in adding the optional 2 gr. yeast and not doing it? Would some dried bread/bakery yeast work ?
3.- Can I use some small canning jars as petri dishes, avoiding this way the "pouring the agar into plates step" after Pcing?

Malt syrup contains water, thus you will have to use a bit more than 20 gram.

Yeast give a healthier growth.

Yes, pre-cook it for an hour before use to kill it(when I didn?t do this, and only pressure cookd it for 20 minutes, I got whole batches contaminated with yeast, until I connecte the use of life yeast to it).

Malt syrup: How about trying to evaporate all the containing water of the syrup prior to utilization ?
Yeast: Pre-cook disolved in water or in a dry manner maybe using a microwave?
Canning jars: Should I put some kind of filter for air exchange as if I were doing some grains (polyfill, tyvek)?

Why? The water content of malt syrup is around 20% of water, so simply add some more to compensate for this.
